Drummin Cottage

The place is just amazing. There so many nice spots to sit, any time of the day has its place. We were able to sit in the field in the late afternoon sun, watching the sheep pass by. And Veronica was so nice, so welcoming.

Nothing really, we can’t think of something to improve.

Everything about this stay was amazing! Veronica was very accommodating with our check in and check out times. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need, as well as being spotless.

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich. Mitten in der Natur, mit Blick aus dem Garten auf Schafweiden. Das Cottage selbst ist unheimlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und alles auf hohem Standard. Es ist eigentlich noch schöner, als es die Fotos zeigen. Im Kühlschrank überraschten uns Leckereien, auch Dinge wie Salz, Öl etc. waren schon da. Die Gastgeberin hatte viele Tipps für uns parat, die wir auch genutzt haben. Die Umgebung bietet sich an für Fahrten in umliegende Gärten, Wälder, Castle und natürlich an Strände, darunter lange Sandstrände (ohne Auto geht es nicht). Wir waren eine Woche da, in der es viel zu entdecken gab. Dieses Cottage empfehlen wir unbedingt weiter.

Where do we even begin! We were blown away when we entered the property. The house was so much bigger than we had expected. The surrounding gardens are stunning. The bed was so comfortable and the linen was really amazing quality. Everything about our stay was luxury. The interior of the house is very thoughtfully planned out, the decor and interior design is very in keeping with the cottage. Lots of wonderful books to browse though in one of the sitting rooms. On day one we attended a wedding but on the second day we took time to enjoy the house and unwind. We especially enjoyed having our coffee outside listening to the birds and watching the sheep in a nearby field which you would see from the house. All in all, our stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Veronica very kindly had left a bottle of white wine in the fridge along with milk, scones and lots of bits and bots in the kitchen. We did not use the kitchen aside form tea/coffee but it would be a perfect kitchen to cook in. A wonderful location to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
