Above our expectations

We had a wonderful time at the Old Cowshed. Great place with a lovely view. We really enjoyed it. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable and different pillows to choose from. The hosts are friendly. The have cute dogs and there are sheeps on the property. The location is great. Perfect for exploring Wicklow mountains. Roundwood is nearby and has a lovely cafe with amazing food. Glendalough is nearby as well. There are plenty restaurants in both villages. We would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family and hope to come back one day.

Wonderful stay at The Old Cow Shed, it's very easy to reach from Dublin by car and in a really beautiful setting with sheep very close by and a stunning view of the beautiful Wicklow hills. Jane and Sean were very friendly and helpful and the converted barn was really lovely, super cosy and clean. Will definitely return one day!

The location is amazing. The village is 3 minutes by car or a 30 minute scenic walk. Powerscourt and glendalough are about 25 minutes away so perfect for day trips. It's a really peaceful area and make it easy to unwind. It feels as if we are on a retreat. The lodge is well layed out and has everything you'd need. 5 of us stay there and there is plenty of room. It even has a selection of books so I never travel with any when I'm going there!

We had an absolutely amazing time and the stay exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was lovely, charming, very clean and comfortable, topped off by the view from the dining room and the herb garden. Jane and Sean were exceptionally warm and welcoming. This is a gem and insider tip, that we would recommend and return to any time.

Beautiful house in rural area

Beautiful house (wooden beds, cosy living room, everything finished to high standard). Nice location (you can see sunrise over the mountain while having breakfast in the living room). The hostess lit the fire before our arrival. Everything you need (dishes, oven, cooker, wood for fire) to have a relaxing quiet day and evening.

Very satisfied with the stay, interesting hosts who were very accommodating for my group.

Location was perfect for mountain biking in Glencullen Adventure Park. In addition Sean and Jane had secure storage for our bikes which was a big plus.

Love, love, love the Cowshed

I'd live here, happily! This accom is so fab! It's finished to a very high standard and the fire was lighting when we got in. The hosts were welcoming, homely and friendly.

I'm only saying this as a recommendation for others. . . bring your bath salts. There's a bath here! Which I love! Bring candles too :)

Amazing stay highly recommended

Myself and 4 girls stayed here for two nights we wanted a mix of a quite few and some nice walks This place has it all . Lovely hosts beautiful area the place itself is perfect. The attention to detail is amazing. The hosts could not have better they helped us with everything telling us where the best hikes and pubs are . I can’t wait for the next time

Alles was top! Prachtige locatie met geweldig uitzicht. Heel aardige eigenaar waar we alles aan konden vragen. In het huis is echt alles aanwezig. Ik miste alleen aan droogrek. 😊

Charmante cottage met fantastische uitzichten in de Wicklow mountains.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Jane en Sean, de cottage is prachtig en biedt mooie uitzichten op de omgeving. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Veel goeie restaurants in het nabijgelegen Roundwood.

1 badkamer is misschien wat weinig als je er met 6 zou verblijven. Wij waren met 4.
