Le 14 Sathonay

The location (in a very interesting and atmospheric neighbourhood, a short walk to the old town, Presqu’ile and both rivers. Plentiful restaurants and cafes within a few seconds!! The quiet (no street or neighbour noise) The lovely decor, comfortable bed and nice linen, aircon / ceiling fans and great shower. The homely and helpful extras (coffee & biscuits + yoghurts,toiletries, umbrella — not needed!) Helpful notes from the owner, Valerie and her kindly agreeing to let us leave our bags after checkout.

Not CRAZY about the hallway and stairs! A little dark and forbidding, but still interesting. The bathroom was slightly too compact for me. Once the sofabed was extended, we were tripping over our things and each other a bit. Best suited for a couple (there were three of us)

Very nice and well located apartment. Our host was very kind and helpful. It’s nicely decorated and has air conditioning which was wonderful as it was 105 degrees when we visited!

The room is a little on the dark side as it looks out over a tiny internal courtyard. The room is on the 4th floor and the elevator doesn’t always work.

Location fabulous. The apartment had everything required for a short stay. It was clean and comfortable

The lift was out of action every afternoon until the next day. This let down the accommodation. We were four flights up and it was very hot so not a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Le 14 Sathonay! The space is well-equipped and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The apartment’s location is excellent and our host, Valérie, was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again the next time we’re in Lyon!
