Crookedstone House

The property was full of character and was very well decorated. The garden welcomed you as soon as you got out of the vehicle with beautiful smells and vibrancy. All the facilities were lovely and quaint. It was a very relaxing stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at Crooked stone, Very shabby chic which I love, my room over looked onto 2 gorgeous horses, I love animals so felt very relaxed. It felt I was staying in someone's home (which it is) but that also made me feel more comfortable as I felt more at home. My room was spotless and beautiful. I'm sure the bed was memory foam so it was like laying on a cloud. The host was very welcoming and lovely to me, I was a solo guessed and she made me feel very safe was very catering to my needs and even offered to cook me anything I wanted, worked around what time I wanted to have breakfast. You have a beautiful home and it was a pleasure to stay there, thank you for making me feel safe and welcome.

I only have 2 negative comments which I think is out weighted by all the positives. The blinds in the bathroom aren't very clean, also there is no signs for the hotel so it was hard to find, I would also recommend a check in area, apart from that the guessed house is lovely.

Good value for money given that my schedule required me to stay near the airport and I was booking with only a few week's notice. Business card with taxi numbers proved very useful. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

No obvious way to get hold of staff, though appreciate that I was running on an odd schedule.
