We would love to spend more time here!

What a great place to stay on our last two days in Ireland, after a six week European tour that stretched from Germany through Belgium to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Cathy and Noel are great hosts! They arranged for roses in our room on the evening we arrived, in celebration of our 27th wedding anniversary on that day. They also recommended a great restaurant for our celebration dinner, sleepy Hollow. We highly recommend that restaurant! We wish we could stay longer, but we are missing home after so long on the road! Thank you, Noel and Cathy, and your doggies Tilly and Poppy, for a lovely stay!

What a B&B is supposed to be.

Cathy and Noel were amazing hosts! This is what a B&B is supposed to feel like! We had a very early flight and they were more than accommodating in checking us in early. If I’m back in Ireland in the future I’ll go out of my way to stay with them again.

Fab room, gorgeous breakfast and fantastic welcome!

A lovely welcome greeted us. This is a beautiful location and a really well-equipped and incredibly clean room. Everything is so well thought through. Breakfast was delightful, made to order (loads of choice) with high quality produce. We all made different choices for our breakfast and these were executed perfectly. Cathy and Noel make every effort to make the stay perfect and it was. I cannot think of anything to suggest to improve - they have thought of everything. It really is 10/10 in every way.

We loved the room, the only thing I’d say, if I had to was the separate bathroom to our room was not ideal, but it can’t be helped with the layout of the property.

The Rocks, it's a wonderful haven, the epitomy of Irish Hospitality.

EVERYTHING! Especially Cathy, Noel, Scott (and Sarah by default). You cannot imagine the extent to which these folks went to in taking 110% care of us. We are so completely indebted to them for "the rescue." The thought "visiting royalty" comes to mind.

Very pleasant B&B, a short drive to Belfast.

Noël and Cathy were friendly, excellent hosts. They provided a wonderful breakfast, made to order. The shower in my room did not work initially, but they promptly fixed it. All in all, I strongly recommend the Rocks B&B.

A very peaceful place

We were in the cabin which was very nicely appointed with everything available for self catering, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The surrounding area was very peaceful and the Rocks was easy to find using the good instructions from our hosts. The place was only half and hour by car to Belfast which was ideal for us. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful with details about the area.

This accommodation was our first overnight stay in Northern Ireland and our expectations were exceeded. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room very clean and the location of the house beautifully situated just north of Belfast. We were able to park the rental car on site without any problems and were received very friendly by the hosts. All our wishes were taken into account and they were extremely accommodating. Not to mention the delicious breakfast and helpful tips for exploring the area. Thanks a million Cathy and Noel, we will definitely be back!

Although the location itself wasn't so great, but Cathy's great welcoming smile was good enough for us to forget the journey. Very large rooms, clean and breakfast was so delicious. I'd only request that if check in time can be earlier between 2pm - 3pm so people can get there in the day sunlight, instead of dark/night time. Overall it was a great experience 🙂 and I'd recommend everyone. Thanks

It was only the location as due to country side driving and late check in time it's a bit dangerous. There was no Internet coming, however we finally spoke to Cathy and she guided us to reach over there.

it was a little challenging to reach. and we had booked a family room and an additional room for the five of us, which gave us the entire third floor. but it was tough to get all of our luggage to the third floor and the bathroom (sink, especially) for the two rooms was VERY small.

Unrivaled hospitality in a bucolic setting

There are so many wonderful things to say about the Rocks B&B. We booked the family suite, and for what I paid I expected one large room. However, we had the entire top floor to ourselves: two rooms with a shared bathroom. We were spoiled for space! The rooms themselves were spacious, immaculate, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I really appreciated fantastic water pressure in the shower and no delay for hot water. I thought the location was excellent--not far from great food (we mostly used take-away) and it was a great home base for trips to the Northwest coast, the Giants Causeway, etc. The location was also so peaceful. I slept incredibly well. Breakfasts at The Rocks B&B are not to be missed. You need to put in your requests the night before because everything is cooked to order-- and deliciously. We almost never ate lunch the entire time we were in Northern Ireland because the breakfasts were so filling. There was lots of variety and incredible portion sizes. We were worried that we would have to miss out on breakfast our last morning because of an early departure, but Cathy offered a slightly earlier breakfast which was so appreciated. And that takes me to the most superlative of all: the people. Cathy and Noel are amazingly generous hosts. I haven't stayed in many B&Bs and I feel like they set an incredibly high standard. Cathy makes communication easy via Whatsapp (if you're like me and never use it, get it loaded on your phone before arriving and experiment with it). Noel and Cathy requested that we not eat in our rooms, but whenever we wanted to have our take-away dinners they laid out plates, cutlery, glasses, and fresh water in the breakfast room for us and cleaned up afterward. Once Cathy even microwaved each of our individual Chinese takeaway containers when we wanted to finish the leftovers--honestly that was above and beyond the call of duty!

I'm sad we had to leave! I'm honestly so glad I booked the Rocks B&B for our Northern Ireland home base. A huge thank you to both Cathy and Noel.
