Nice enough

The property was very central and we had no real issues staying there.

There’s no fridge, food storage or microwave in the facility. So you have to always purchase food outside of the hotel. Annoying as we did have a few things that needed to be refrigerated and heated to consume.

Everything was wonderful! A modern, clean and comfortable room with everything you need. Every single member of staff were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and there was everything you could possibly wish for on offer… the staff serving breakfast were so lovely and so helpful!

There was a musty smell in the room on arrival and a lot of people were smoking outside our window and the smell was seeping in even after closing the vent. However that was the only dislike.

An enjoyable stay in a lovely room.

A smaller breakfast portion for pensioners or croissant and coffee option would have enticed us to have breakfast. We asked if this was an option as for example stena ferries allow children’s portions to anyone at all and it’s highly popular. Unfortunately ibis had no option for smaller breakfast so we gave it a miss.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The receptionist Angel-lee was so helpful and friendly and the ladies at breakfast were so attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come back.

Excellent hotel… rooms are modern and beds are really comfortable. We love that the IBIS is dog friendly and our dog can join us. Restaurant bar area is clean and modern and the food was really good and reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly ..

Really comfortable in a great location with friendly staff.

The location was perfect for our visit, with lots of food outlets and supermarket and petrol station close by. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The staff were very polite.

Welcoming hotel

I felt welcome ,im a nervous person . The staff made me feel at ease espcially the girl at the desk the day i arrived ,it made the stay more enjoyable . Had a lovely dinner and rhubarb crumble was divine . Breakfast is fantastic ,lots of choice . Rooms tidy and modern and i loved the big tv to watch traitors . Comfy bed . Ovetall enjoyable stay makes me want to go again .

Hotel facilities great - restaurant terrible.

Staff and room was great

Evening meal in the restaurant was terrible. I had the chicken burger, which the batter fell off the chicken as I lifted it. I’ve paid a lot less elsewhere for better quality. We also had the pizza which was served cold and resembled cardboard.

It was a short stopover. It was nice and clean. Staff were lovely. Close to shops and the restaurant was really good.

The restaurant area was tastefully furnished.

As was typical of an Ibis hotel, room was fairly spartan. It was hard to tell if the walls were concrete made to look like wallpaper, or wallpaper made to look like concrete.

Relaxing, value for money stay

I phoned to request a late check in. This was no bother and a receptionist was available when we arrived. The restaurant was busy so we were told it would be fine to bring food back from a nearby chippy

Ok hotel to stay for a night within reasonable distances to the Giant's causeway

The room was large and the beds comfortable. They were able to accommodate our Labrador during the visit. The cooked part of the (included) breakfast was quite good

The normal part breakfast was quite sparse and the pastries were mostly supermarket style wrapped. The check-in lady wasn't very nice and first thing asked was what time did we want breakfast (even before we knew the times available)

Okay for a short stay

Comfortable bed, really nice food both at breakfast and dinner! Restaurant staff also really friendly.

Would have been good to have a separate shower head so not to be forced to wash my hair upon every shower. Insulation could be better- could hear traffic quite a lot even with a closed window. Asked reception for help booking a taxi, however it wasn't clear if this was ever booked so ended booking one ourselves.

Handy location

As we were passing through, the location just off the ring road was perfect. There was plenty of outdoor parking near the building. We had a deluxe double with a king bed. There was plenty of space and the usual Ibis storage. It was good having a desk and chair and armchair. There were plugs and phone ports by the bed. Dinner at the Sandpiper Restaurant was very good.

The room could have done with a central light rather than just targeted lighting.
