The bath towels let the place down. Otherwise it was super.

The breakfast was great. A lot of thought and attention was put into providing quality ingredients in a really nice setting. Everything about the breakfast was superb.

The bath towels were not good quality and didn't appear to have been professionally laundered, as they smelt as soon as they were wet. I dried myself with the hairdryer as I couldn't face using the towels.

Ideal location, and a wonderful location.

What a welcome. This was a superb place to stay. Ideal location after a long drive about 5 hours from the channel ports. Chartres itself is fascinating and le parc Stanislaw was first rate. The owner speaks good English and really went out of his way to make our stay very good

Superb accommodation and location - highly recommended!

Everything! Starting with the superb, secluded location (just a short walk from Chartres Cathedral). Then there was the warm welcome from host/owner Jerome, who couldn't have been more friendly and obliging. We had a wonderful room which had been recently modernised to a high standard. Excellent breakfast, including Jerome's home-made yuzu jam! We just wish we could have stayed longer.

A perfect little oasis near the centre

I've stayed here three times now on my way through to the Dordogne. It's a beautiful place to stay. The rooms have been renovated to perfection, the garden is a little oasis just a few mins from Chartres and the owner is so warm and welcoming. I was travelling with my mum this time and we'd considered staying in Rouen on the way back but we couldn't find anywhere as comfortable to stay, especially with her dog, so decided to come back here on the return. It was her first time away since before covid and she'd been nervous about travelling. Jerome was just the right host to ease her anxieties and she soon got into the holiday spirit. Can't recommend the place enough.

Beautiful garden. Well appointed room -lovely decor - with very nice terrace overlooking garden. Very comfy bed so we had a great sleep. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day very well. Cute pooch!

What can I say about this amazing house, excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings, perfect host and wonderful breakfast? oh, I've said it all!! My wife and I had a perfect stay in Le Parc Stanislas, ably looked after by Jérome and his partner. Nothing was too much trouble and Jérome even recommended, and booked, restaurants for us.

Perfect Spot for Chartres

The location was ideal for us. Near the southern entrance to Chartres and 10 mins walk to the centre. The owners were very friendly, very accommodating and keep an immaculate premises. They also have a great friendly Australian Sheep dog who was worth the trip herself. Great and huge bed too.

Host contacted us on the day to confirm arrival time. Room and bathroom spacious and clean plus an unexpected private patio overlooking the garden. Owner offered to book and recommend local restaurants which were both very good. Secure easy parking.

Great location, with onsite parking, fantastic breakfast served by the owner.

Our only problem with the place was the owners dog was always trying to get to our dog, so we had to keep our dog in our room as she is not very social. But we will be very happy to go back when we are not travelling with our pet.
