Fabulous, very nearly perfect

Loved the room, everything was clean, the little kitchen area was an added bonus, and the fact we could cook and sit and eat at the table in the room after our 5 hour car journey was so welcome. The location was excellent for visiting the beautiful Cathedral town and the beautiful Christmas Market, just a short walk away. Parking was excellent. We will definitely use this hotel again

The positioning of the very large recycling/rubbish bin just inside the bedroom door meant the door between the bedroom and the kitchen area couldn't be closed, and unfortunately the rather loud noise of the fridge motor... (as it got to temperature) was going on and off all night. It kept me awake for hours.

Excellent single night stopover en route through France. Chartres old town was well worth the visit.

The location was excellent for a short walk into the old town. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bed very comfy. The car parking was very convenient and opened as soon as we arrived. Reception staff were attentive and helped with directions to town. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice place for a short visit

Clean and spacious studio, private parking available, there was a kitchen corner. The distance from Cathedral is about 10 minutes.

The hotel charges a deposit for the room 250 euros. The front desk lady at check-in mentioned that it will be paid at the check-out. That was not accurate, unfortunately, and the next day after check-out to get my money back I had to send a reminder.

A very nice stop in Chartres.

A very good location, only a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral and town centre. It was also great to have the secure car park in the ground floor of the building. We had a room with a balcony, which was excellent, particularly as we stayed three nights. It was useful too to have the facility of using the laundry room - well kept and with clean Miele machines. Having the kitchenette was helpful too...

We arrived in Friday rush hour traffic, which affected us finding the location. At any other time of day there would have been no problem. Otherwise, there was nothing not to like.

An amazing stay in Chartres

This has been my 3rd stay in 3 years. The first one with other guests. As usual, the hotel was great. Very polite and helpful staff. Clean and very well quipped rooms. Great view from the windows as well. If I am ever again in the region and need a place to stay. I will pick this one in a heartbeat.

The hotel is fantastic. Everything is nice and clean, and my review is a 10/10. Since I'm required to say something I didn't like, I will nitpick and say that for some reasons there were two construction barriers blocking the way to the front door, and a small detour was needed if you couldn't move the barriers. But this is just a very minor inconvenience in an excellent hotel.

Not worth the money

On arrival an immediate request for a deposit in case of breakages was unexpected and put us on edge for our stay. An unfortunate feeling when trying to relax after a long drive with 3 children. Also the rooms in which we stayed weren’t fully equipped for the number of guests. The double room had only one bottle of water, no milk for tea and 4 hand towels for drying rather than larger bath towels. The hot water in this room (318) also wasn’t effective. We had to have mild showers in the morning followed by tiny towels for drying. Similarly in our triple room (320) there was not enough water or milk for 3 guests and only 2 towels available. It really is details like these that are quite important when you are staying for one night to break up a long tiring journey. Breakfast was also a little disappointing for the cost. We felt that there were limited options compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Finally emptying our own bins seemed like an unnecessary request considering the amount of money we paid to stay.

Nice stay with family in Chartres

Nice fairly new hotel a 10-minute walk from Chartres town centre. I would have given it a 8,5 out of 10 if I could have. Appartments are large and well equipped. The breakfast is OK too (fair variety of salty and sweet dishes; one milk alternative (almond); nice scrambled eggs, which unfortunately were not available every morning). Little gym with two treadmills, a substandard rowing machine, some free weights, and an unfunctional multifunctional weight machine. It might have been worth investing a bit more in this equipment. Less could be more in this case. Nice commonal areas, including a terrace. Friendly receptionists and cleaners. Good garage with bike rack/stand.

Excellent stopover in Chartres

Having a little kitchen corner was nice as we could eat in sometimes. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Secure parking, easily accessible as we arrived. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful lady on reception, who spoke excellent English, for which we were very grateful.

There was very little that we didn’t like, other than perhaps not much fruit to eat at the first breakfast, but more the next morning, so that was good. Also maybe an extra towel for people staying more than one night ie two towels each.

Pleasant hotel in a good location

Excellent sized rooms with good facilities and comfortable bed Good location that was easily walkable into the centre.

Parking away from the hotel. We had a bike and roof box, neither of which would fit in the underground carpark so had the joy of taking everything off before we could park. We then left our bike in the hotels basement car park, which was pretty empty so not sure why this wasn't an option open to us.

A nice overnight stay, between two other accommodations in other locations.

The location was very good, a few minutes walk from the centre of Chartres, with all it's amazing buildings. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were nice, and clean. The underground car park was small, but good to keep our bicycles safe overnight.

Breakfast was a buffet, but when something was finished, it was difficult to get more, so you need to be early to have the best choice. The breakfast was probably not very good value for the price.

Great Chartres Stay

Good helpful staff. Very nice room with air-conditioning and balcony. Safe paid parking (8Euros) and easy walk into town to see the amazing cathedral, charming streets, cafés and bars.

High spec rooms, very good value, good breakfast, and in a good location, easy to find and close to all that Chartres has to offer. Loved the recycling bins in rooms, good air conditioning

Great location and facilities, would definitely stay here again

Great location for visiting Chartres, it was clean and comfortable had air conditioning and welcomed dogs. There was a good breakfast buffet available if you wanted it or kitchenette facilities in your room, including a dishwasher. The staff were friendly and helpful, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We didn’t realise we had to book a car parking space and there was none available when we arrived, however the staff directed us to a pay and display car park about 50 meters from the hotel.

Excellent, as expected.

I've stayed here before and very much like Chartres, so I may be a little biased. The arrangement with a kitchenette and balcony is an excellent one. For a rusty French speaker, the cheery and welcoming Faith on reception is good news indeed. She is helpful, resourceful and a real asset to the hotel. When I revisit Chartres, I will stay again.

Practical and convenient accommodation in Chartres.

Well equipped apartment room in a convenient location to explore Chartres with it's impressive cathedral and beautiful town centre. Apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable with a small kitchenette with fridge, cooker and baby dishwasher - and a cleaning kit provided. Our receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have booked car parking at small extra cost otherwise we would have struggled to park the car nearby.

Coming by car - arrival instructions would have been helpful as we struggled to find the car parking and entrance. Our room wasn't ready at arrival (after 4pm) - the receptionist was very apologetic and gave us a complementary coffee while we waited.

Pet friendly apartment hotel in great location

The location is fantastic for the city centre. The parking is secure and the staff were great. Although pets are not allowed in the breakfast room I was able to arrange with the staff for a table to be set on the terrace just outside the breakfast room with a door opening directly between the two.

The window in the bedroom would be better with a function where you could open for ventilation but with security.
