The location is fantastic and the apartment itself is of a good size. The sofa is very comfortable and was perfect for a cosy night in after a hike!
The kitchen has everything you need (oven, microwave, hob etc). The WiFi is nice and strong throughout the property.
It was missing a number of touches that you’d expect from a 10/10 apartment.
There was washing up liquid provided but no sponges/brush. The frying pans were really old and looked unhygienic (I’m surprised they haven’t been replaced given it’s been called out in other reviews!). There’s no mirror over the sink. A few caring touches like any recommendations of where to go locally would have helped too.
These aren’t deal breakers in any way, but we’ve definitely stayed in many apartments that feel a bit more loved!

Great location , Callander is a lovely village to explore.
Fridge was not working properly and food froze. ( salad and fruit had to be discarded as it was frozen )Bed very squeaky uncomfortable. Frying pans desperately need replacing and could not used in warped scratch condition. Black mould in shower.
