Cosy, well situated ground floor home

Excellent location, at the end of the main street.,but still quiet. Comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom with shower over bath. The bath is a corner one which is deep for climbing in and out, but a strong hand rail is provided along with non slip grips in the bath. Comfortable sofas. Washing machine provided. Private outdoor area which would be lovely in summer (we visited in October). Good clear communication from the owner. Parking space right outside the property. WiFi was good. The home is all at ground level, but there is a small step between the kitchen and lounge. This is definitely somewhere we would stay again if we were in the area.

Unfortunately there was an issue with a bad smell. This was found to be from a previous occupants pet-, but should have been noticed and dealt with on cleaning between guests. Apart from that everything else was great

great location central to everything, private parking space, enclosed garden safe for our dog millie. Flat had everything required for a week long stay. One min walk to the river just a great location.

Glad it was only one night.

It was reasonably clean.

Bedroom smelt and felt damp. Could smell it in our clothes and stopped us sleeping well. Although bed was comfortable. Could hear neighbours cleaning their teeth, preparing dinner( chopping) and talking. Smell of cigarette smoke permeated from neighbours under the door that seemed to link us.

Accommodation clean, tidy and nicely decorated, location ideal for walking and cycling

The property had everything we needed for our stay and was ideally located for exploring both the town (on foot) and the surrounding countryside. Lots of local walks and cycle routes from Callander so the car was not neded. There are several eating and drinking places within walking distance.

The access code for the key safe was not sent early enough, I arrived 30 mins before my estimated arrive time and had to phone the owner for the code. I recieved an emailed 2 minutes before my estimated arrival time, 30 mines too late.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location

Location was excellent with a supermarket opposite and walking distance of main street. Flat was clean, comfortable and compact, included everything you need for a holiday stay, including washing machine.

Old post office Callander self catering

Been before love that it's central, dog friendly, it's clean and tidy. Safe garden and parking. Have everything you need if you are self catering. Emma supplied a lot of wee extras that was much appreciated.

It's not as easy as I don't like.. I booked for 2 but I was travelling with my elderly parent and it was a double bed so I slept on sofa, previous visit there was a sofa bed this time it was just a sofa so not so comfortable. Bath is huge and awkward to get into a walk on shower would have been easier especially for my mum who is 90. There was some disturbance from upstairs neighbour on the stairwell and slamming doors. Not the hosts fault as this is outwith Emma control but we got a fright the first time it happened.

The Apartment was a wonderful little find It was so comfortable and well presented The facilities and location were excellent and the private parking was a extra bonus Our host Emma was very helpful when we contacted her with any queries We would not hesitate to return here and I would highly recommend it to anyone

A real home from home. Would definitely recommend.

Great location for exploring the Trossachs National Park. Flat was very clean and tidy, with wine in the welcome pack and milk in the fridge. It had a really comfortable bed. Plenty of places to eat, all within walking distance. Tescos is just over the road, which was very handy. We enjoyed a trip to Stirling castle on the 59 bus, a cruise on Loch Katrine, walks to Bracklinn falls and a hill walk up Ben A'an. Emma was a lovely host with great communication. Would definitely recommend to friends. Thank you Emma!

Immaculate well appointed flat.

The communication with the owner was great around our arrival time and ongoing. The property was exceptionally clean and well-appointed with everything you could need, with the comfiest bed ever, a very relaxing sleep was had. The location is fantastic with all amenities within a couple of minutes' walk.

Been here a few times now , weather was not our friend so never got out as much as usual , but were quite happy to stay in and watch Christmas movies , 'the old post office ' really is a home from home , we go self catering on pretty much all out holidays and this is our favourite..

The location of this lovely pet-friendly property is ideal and the car parking space and little garden a bonus. The apartment is very cosy, comfortable and modern with a fully equipped kitchen – everything was very clean, well laid out and easy to find what you needed. Emma was a wonderful host and we will definitely return!

A lovely relaxed chilled stay , Thank you Emma

was a lovely clean , comfortable garden flat. Well equipped kitchen . Lovely bathroom with rain fall shower and deep corner bath . Most comfortable bed we have had at any accommodation we have stayed at . The garden is a beautiful wee sun trap with multiple areas to catch the sun . So convenient for all amenities , Tesco Express is directly across road from flat. Host Emma was amazing , extremely helpful .
