A great little find, awesome location, the hot tub was bliss and We loved the games outside. The hosts have clearly put a lot of time and thought into the Bothy and it very much shows. Had everything we needed for our stay and will definitely be back!

I liked the decor, the location, the feel of the place was very welcoming. I will def initely be back as soon as I can I haven’t relaxed like that in a long time. Pitty it rained the whole time but didn’t spoil our stay we had fun playing mini golf in the rain 🙂
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Wat een heerlijke plek! The Bothy is ruim, schoon, prachtig en compleet ingericht. Warm, gezellig en heerlijk privé. Als er iets is, is de eigenaar zo te bereiken, maar als je ze niet nodig hebt, merk je niet dat ze er zijn. De jacuzzi staat klaar om er zo in te stappen en na een dag op pad plof je neer om netflix aan te zwiepen of pak je de tafeltennisbatjes of midgetgolfsticks die in het huisje klaar liggen.
Centraal gelegen met genoeg opties voor dagjes weg. Stirling is prachtig (Stirling Castle en the Wallace Monument zijn must sees), maar Callander op vijf minuten afstand heeft ook genoeg te bieden. Maak een wandeling rondom Bracklinn Falls, aai de Highland Coo's en geniet van de rust van het Schotse landschap.
Wij hebben ons een paar keer gewaagd aan een flinke autorit door the Highlands, richting Loch Ness en Glenfinnan. Dat is te doen, maar kost je een flink aantal uurtjes in de auto (met prachtige plaatjes onderweg). Voor wie daar geen zin in heeft is er op kortere afstand echt meer dan genoeg moois te zien en te doen.
The Bothy is een prachtige plek om na een dag op pad "thuis" te komen en te ontspannen. Mijn dochter en ik hebben het enorm naar ons zin gehad en wilden eigenlijk niet meer weg.
