Great for a break

We loved it all to be honest. But the location was absolutely fantastic so peaceful. Town is practically on your door step but you would never know it with how quiet it is. So many great walks to take all relatively close by. Would definitely book again.

More of a suggestion than a what I didn't like as it's not an actual problem. The TV could benefit from a swing arm bracket rather than a static one. There honestly wasn't anything I didn't like.

Overall stay was fantastic, relaxing and great eating places close by.

The location, the house and the homeliness of the property. Decorated for Christmas and sweets, prosecco on arrival.

Have stayed here before a few times, but not sure if mattress has been changed as it was not as comfortable as last few times, but that is possibly just our personal taste.

We felt right at home in this beautiful apartment, so close to walks and shopping.

Beautiful location on the edge of town with a view of the river. Bird feeders on the lawn made for good bird watching. She left milk in the fridge for us and coffee pods so we could have it when we arrived. Notes with recommendations for restaurants and walks nearby. Easy parking right behind building.

Not a problem with the property, but Callander has very few dinner restaurants. Lots of breakfast and lunch places to eat, but only a few for dinner.

Fantastic experience

Great communications, fab location, super clean, everything I needed to put a meal together, loved the fact we could recycle ,loved the river location and bird watching, small but super spacious ( great design)loved being able to sit outside in the morning with my tea! Bed comfortable -I think this was a 10+—plus I love a lock box since I don’t like having to confirm what time I would be arriving -Ty Lorraine-I will stay with you next time I visit family in Scotland-cheers

It was an excellent location, tucked away just off the main high street, with a beautiful outlook. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and clean.

Amazing Stay

The property was gorgeous, spotlessly clean had everything you could want the only reason I would not return is they do not allow dogs and we only go holidays with our dog . This was for a one off for us as we were meeting up with relatives for 60th birthday

Excellent really recommend for a relaxing break but with shop, bars and restaurants a short walk.

What a beautiful property in a stunning location with the garden and river. We had a fabulous relaxing weekend and the town centre was a short walk. Would really recommend. We enjoyed fishing from the bank just outside the garden.

Only thing for us was we found the mattress too hard, as the host will probably say it is a personal choice but just too hard for us to get comfortable.

Relaxing.

The location was perfect. Wrong time of year to sit out on the balcony but could still enjoy the scenery of the river with the ducks and variety of birds around the feeders. And only 2 minutes walk from Main Street.

beautiful location quiet and scenic kitchen very well equipped

mattress was very firm, and pillows overly soft TV was a bit small and had to move the couch around to comfortably lounge and watch TV no shampoo provided

Fabulous

Just a short walk to the Main Street however very peaceful and stunning scenery at the Riverside, ducks and birds in garden, made us smile. One of the best self catering accommodation we have visited. Everything we needed in cottage, flowers and milk appreciated. Fabulous.

Location opposite the river, lovely, central in Callander but quiet. Excellent facilities with basics supplied. Property to a high standard and very clean. One of the best self catering rentals we've stayed in.

In my opinion, the only improvement that could be made is that the foam in the seat cushions on one of the sofas (sofa bed, I think), would benefit from being replaced. No support and uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.
