Spectacular house and setting - already planning next stay

An amazing house for a group stay - characterful, and not too cold for a large old house. Fantastic location, quiet, safe back road with only a few minutes walk to the hills on one side and just enough of a village centre on the other.

Aga wasn't working on arrival but host very responsive at rectifying. Short on the odd kitchen item (far fewer knives than forks?!)

Superb

Almost everything! The house was fabulous, spacious and had everything needed for a great break. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the real fire a treat we appreciated but probably didn't need in late summer. The aga kept the back of the house toasty and offered some class. Everything needed was in place. Exploring the back garden was a ramble in itself with a rewarding view at the end, and the aspects all round were spectacular. The best recommendation I cane give is to share the conversation on the last night about when we can rebook to return.

Only the non working light in the upstairs w.c was the slightest of inconveniences, and perhaps the steepness of the driveway which my low profile car had some difficulty taking without scraping the skirt.

Cosy, Spacious House for large group

Very spacious and cosy house. Kids loved running around both inside and outside. Gorgeous Scottish flavoured fudge left for guests arrival. Great outdoor dining area for bbq. Swing set for kids in garden Great location. Just a short walk to the local shops and lots of lovely walks/beaches.

No dishwasher tablets/spare toilet rolls or bin bags. Would be handy if only away for few days to take some with you. Kids were looking forward to playing with the table football as shown in the pictures however this was not in house on our arrival?
