About this cottage rental
Please note due to COVID19 unit is thoroughly cleaned in between guests with everything cleaned and all surfaces wiped and sanitised. You can check in contactless. Pt Chevalier is a lovely in city suburb of Auckland Central. Close to all major motorways. Because of its location it is very easy to get to the North Shore, West Auckland, East Auckland or South Auckland in just 10-15 minutes by motorway.
We have a lovely self contained unit that is newly renovated. Unit has two queen sized bedrooms a tiled bathroom and in living area a pull out sofa bed. You can come and go as you please. Linens provided. We also have a nice back yard. And court yard that you can enjoy.
We do provide breakfast ingredients : cornflakes, jams, tea and coffee to have at you leisure. We do not provide milk or bread.
Our place is great for business guests or travellers, we would love to host you.

Nice, clean place with a lovely welcome touch – wine and food left for our arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and bedding.We were a family of 5, so the living space was quite small. The sofa bed was a tight fit and needed to be packed away each morning before we could use the kitchen and lounge properly. I wasn’t sure where to put the coffee table and couch when it was pulled out, as it blocked the kitchen and walkway to the other room. Next time, I’d actually prefer using an air bed in one of the bedrooms for our third child instead.Since we paid for an extra guest, it would have been good to have pillows, bedding and towels ready for our 5th person.That said, it’s a lovely quiet spot. Even though it’s on the same property as the owners, we didn’t see them at all. There is an outdoor space, but it’s shared – both back doors open onto the same area, so it’s not private if you wanted your own space outside.Parking is on the street for guests, but we had no trouble finding a spot in the nice neighbourhood. The cafe at the end of the street is great for coffee, and the shower had brilliant water pressure.

Very clean and tidy with spacious bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with host. Great spot in Pt Chev and easy walk to cafes, shops and CB public transport.

It is a lovely unit with all necessary ammenities required, the only downside for us was the access going up the driveway (didnt help that is was raining but thats mother nature), and to the entrance to the unit was not exactly mobility friendly for my sister who was a stroke patient. Otherwise it was a great location and a lovely host.
