About this cottage rental

Please note due to COVID19 unit is thoroughly cleaned in between guests with everything cleaned and all surfaces wiped and sanitised. You can check in contactless. Pt Chevalier is a lovely in city suburb of Auckland Central. Close to all major motorways. Because of its location it is very easy to get to the North Shore, West Auckland, East Auckland or South Auckland in just 10-15 minutes by motorway.

We have a lovely self contained unit that is newly renovated. Unit has two queen sized bedrooms a tiled bathroom and in living area a pull out sofa bed. You can come and go as you please. Linens provided. We also have a nice back yard. And court yard that you can enjoy.

We do provide breakfast ingredients : cornflakes, jams, tea and coffee to have at you leisure. We do not provide milk or bread.

Our place is great for business guests or travellers, we would love to host you.
Special conditions:
We Allow smoking but outside only.

Maree was a very good host, good communication, not intrusive, friendly and helped promptly with couple of maintenance snags. Immaculately clean, basics in fridge on arrival is so welcoming too. Comfortable beds, helpful to have fans and dehumidifier as no air conditioning. Close to selection of cafes, useful as kitchen is limited, no hob. Close to shops and bus stop. Ideally placed to visit our son and his family. Enjoy your birthday celebration cruise Maree!

The unit is amazing and it was exactly what we needed for a long weekend in Auckland. It had everything and in a great location, close to everything and everyone (family) and Maree was an excellent host. We had the best time in our stay and would certainly recommended a stay here. We will be back !

Everything was fine. Communication was very good. I was/am still a little confused over extra charges. Think it's Bookabach but there is a fee for rent, one for cleaning, one 'service fee'. and then another $90 fee. I feel Bookabach should include this fee upfront in the price per night. Is it for the number of people? Not owner's fault. Probably should mention off street parking not always available.

We loved staying at Maree's Unit. It was immaculately clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, it was cosy, the location is excellent, and although we didn't have a need to meet Maree in person, she was very good at responding to our messages very quickly. Point Chev is a fantastic location, close to the zoo and city centre. There is a supermarket very close by and an excellent bakery (Daily Bread). We appreciated the boardgames and being able to have a play once our toddler had gone to bed for the night. Bonus points are also given for having a copy of Alison Holst's microwave cooking cookbook published in 1989! Very iconic LOL.Thank you Maree for the excellent stay!
