A great property for a couple or couple with children.

The location is wonderful with easy access for coastal walks, the ocean views from the lounge and master bedroom are truly superb.

As a newish build apartment it is getting ready for a makeover. The property would suit a couple or a couple with children. We were a party of 4 adults and the second bedroom with 2 single beds left a lot to be desired whilst the glass encased toilet in the main bedroom if it has to be there could do with more space!

Location and view is excellent. Very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Host were attentive, helpful and friendly.

Hermanus Sea View Happy Place

We arrived during a super cold day and were surprised to find a warm water bottle on our beds. Thank you for the consideration as we were contemplating buying it for ourselves since it was so cold. The view and the gardens are beautiful! We loved the decor. The communication from the hosts was great from the start. As a suggestion, maybe provide a map that indicates where the swimming pool and the walk way is situated as we could not find it. We only found it after going to town and walking back to the property via the walk way.

We noticed some dust in some of the cupboards as well as some unnecessary boxes stacked on kitchen cupboards. The fan in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. The kitchen had some coffee and tea etc, however no milk to go with it.

great location - shame about the admin/plumbing work

The view from the windows in the master bedroom and main area is phenomenal. No need to go anywhere else to whale watch! Great provision of additional heating and backup energy supply if needed. Really well equipped kitchen area and eating facilities. Brilliantly located for walking the coast path in either direction and only a short drive into Hermanus itself.

The booking.com map location of this property is incorrect. Had to contact the agent to locate the property - guests should be advised to use the postal address provided and not the booking.com map link. Payment was complicated as not via Booking.com but via bank transfer and there was some confusion over how we needed to pay the remainder of our balance. There was some confusion over key collection with us expecting to meet a person but the key then being left in a secret location. On the last day we received a text telling us the agent would be at the property to carry out the check out at 9am. When we queried this was apparently a typo and 10am would be fine..... A leak in another part of the building caused extensive plumbing / drainage work to take place resulting in limited timed access to water which we were not informed of prior to arrival - a bottle of water had been provided on the side in the kitchen but we were not told we would need to use it or that there would be no water available until 5pm. There was also considerable building noise which started at 8am. The main bedroom has an 'ensuite' which consists of a sink and bath area within the bedroom and then a glass walled toilet area - unfortunately the toilet area is incredibly small - literally someone taller than 5 ft 10 / 1.9m would have to sit on the toilet with the door open. The shower in the family bathroom was lovely in terms of water pressure and temperature but didn't drain effectively.

A beautiful property with amazing views! The pool is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge is super comfy. The fact that they had a back up battery which had lights and internet during load shedding made our stay. Centrally located meant we walked everywhere.

The pillows were a bit lumpy. Good quality pillows is something I look for. But when looking at the bigger picture and the experience as a whole, this was the least of our worries.

Beautiful location, great apartment but needs better looking after.

Stunning location, superb ocean views, incredible whale watching. Apartment well and tastefully furnished. Lots of comfortable seating. Beautiful garden.

Booked for a month but the place was set up for a week. No change of bed linen or towels, and minimum supplies. Wardrobe in second bedroom unusable due to broken shelf and a double mattress stuffed into it. Some extra touches - SA bird book, info on local flora and fauna and restaurant recommendations - would have been appreciated. A bit more attention to detail is needed as there were a number of maintenance issues - broken door handle, chipped crockery, both corkscrews broken etc etc.

No one came to meet us when we arrived and it was not a nice experience arriving at night without anyone to show us the room. I also tried to communicate during the stay with the owner and the feedback time was really slow.

The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay, and was able to arrange for a whale watching tour. A great time for me and my girlfriend travelling with our 2 friends.

I really enjoyed being right on the waters edge looking across the bay. I also thought it was very nice driving out to the wine farms and it was very useful to have a Spar grocer very close by, literally walking distance.

I would've liked references to visit various places or other recommendations. Family of my friends recommended Creation Wines and they were right to, also the nearby restaurant by the sea was very good.

Stunning views. Well appointed apartment with good location.

Unit doesn't have heating (for cold & wet days) and there wasn't a frying pan or lid for big pot. For the rest, this was an A-plus stay.

The view was spectacular. The position was great. The apartment was spacious and modern. The grounds and gardens were immaculate. The swimming pool was very clean.

The windows were so dirty that we had to clean them ourselves with my husband hanging out of the window to be able to see nicely out of them. There was a lot of dust under the beds etc. Could have done with a thorough clean. Bring own shower gel as no bars of soap provided. There was a tiny bit of left over shower gel in the shower.

Bathroom extractor fan very noisy. Missed amenities like extra toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand wash liquid. Very small towels. Nespresso or similar pod coffee maker would have been nice. Only 2 wine glasses.
