Short whale watching trip

Absolutely everything. Huge 3 bedroom apartment with the most stunning view of the ocean from the balcony and one of the bedroom. I could stay on the balcony forever. We saw whales breaching and tail swatting just sitting there. Apartment is fully equipped and though it can be cold in the colder season you get heated blankest and heaters in the bathroom and living room.

Wow, the whole place is just amazing. Every part of it was great and I wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever come to Hermanus again, we'll stay here, no doubt. The place is perfect for a family

Enjoyable Stay.

Spacious modern 3 bedroom apartment with a 180 degree sea view. Walls and Furniture in good condition. Kitchen very well equiped. Good washing machine and drying racks. Beds were comfortable. Underground secure carpark with easy access to the lift. Lydia met us when we arrrived and went through the main particulars such as door codes, keys and check out arrangements. Note, the garbage bins are in the right hand corner at the front of the complex.

One shower was out of service due to lifting tiles, sticker on dryer requesting clothes to be dried on stand alone drying racks. TV not tuned for free to air TV and one remote had flat batteries. The bathrooms including the WC (toilet) were enclosed in clear glass - just a tad to modern for our liking. A small issue with the wooden door lock that the Owner promptly attended to.

What a view! Sad to leave that and the sound of the waves behind. The flat was very comfortable and spacious and felt better than home. Lydia and her colleagues were super responsive to our queries and helped instantly. Greatly appreciated. Everything we needed in the flat and more. Thank you for a great stay. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The location of this apartment is nothing short of excellent. Situated in the heart of Hermanus, it offers convenience and easy access to all the attractions and activities that this beautiful coastal town has to offer. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a foodie, or simply seeking a tranquil getaway, this location has it all. The hosts were organised and welcoming. The apartment itself is a haven of comfort and style. The furnishings are top-notch, with every piece of furniture exuding both luxury and functionality. The beds, oh the beds, were incredibly comfortable, ensuring that we all had restful nights of sleep. And then there's the kitchen - an amazing space equipped with everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal or simply enjoy a leisurely breakfast. One of the highlights of this apartment is its impeccable cleanliness and maintenance. It's evident that the owners take great pride in keeping the place in pristine condition, and it shows. The spotless rooms and common areas made us feel right at home. We traveled with a group of six adults, and this apartment provided more than enough room for everyone. The beautiful balcony and entertainment areas were the perfect spots to gather, relax, and take in the breathtaking views. During our stay, we were lucky enough to visit during whale watching season and witnessed numerous majestic whales right from the balcony. It was an experience we'll never forget. If you're considering a stay in Hermanus, look no further. This holiday apartment is, without a doubt, one of the best places I've had the pleasure of staying in. With its unbeatable location, superb hosting, top-notch furnishings, and unforgettable views, it's a true hidden gem. Don't hesitate for a moment!

The apartment is wonderfully situated in the center of Hermanus Bay, which provides the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and its whales. The pool and the garden are fantastic.

The only small drawback: since we went in winter on windy days, all the windows of the house allow a lot of drafts. During the night, despite the heaters being present, it was quite cold.

The best view ever. Stunning location, well kept lawns, and lovely pool for summer. Balcony was a bonus. We loved the fact that there were 3 bathrooms for the 3 couples. The decor and the cutlery/crockery were upmarket and carefully appointed. Electric blankets for winter, and coffee pods for Nespresso, lovey touch of roses and welcome biscuits.

A home away from home

Bayview 203 is a truly amazing luxurious apartment with the most amazing sea views. Very clean place with morden finishes, stunning bathrooms, comfortable beds, spacious cupboards and a well equipped kitchen with all appliances working. The WiFi worked perfectly all the time as well as DSTV channels. The photos on Bookings.com don't do the apartment justice as it is actually much more spacious than it appears. It's centrally located and walking to town, waterfront restaurants, market and cliff path was very easy. Beautiful well manicured garden with stunning pool and braai area bordering on the ocean. Lydia and Janine were very friendly and accessible. This apartment is highly recommend. Our family will definitely visit again

It would be great to have access to private braai facility. Maybe add a fireplace or bigger heater in the living room for cold days. These are not deal breakers though as we still had a lovely stay. And note all the bedrooms have electric blankets and bathrooms have wall mounted heaters. Do remember to book and pay additional charge for cleaning services.

Lydia and Henriett were amazing and a pleasure to talk to. I had multiple emails and conversations with Henriett. Lydia met us at the apartment and went through everything with us. She provided her number and kept in touch - especially about the "load shedding" as we had no idea how this worked. Truly great service from Henriett and Lydia!

After booking we received instructions to call Janine when we were close to the apartment. Janine did not answer her phone when we were on our way to the apartment. I had to phone the office and ask them to send someone else to meet us at the apartment. Coming from Canada, we did not expect the power outages. We were however provided with battery operated lights and Lydia sent me all the latest information regarding potential power outages.
