IKE'S Deluxe APARTMENT in Bayeux

Walkable to downtown and the beautiful cathedral. 3 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. The washing machine and drying rack were a plus! The host was very helpful; he also has a ride service and so he picked us up at the train station and took us right to the place. This made it very easy to check in! He gave us a good recommendation of a restaurant we could walk to. He also let us store our bags in a secured space after check out so we could tour around without our luggage until our train departed.

It was very hot, and the fans in 2 of the bedrooms did not adequately cool the space. However, the weather was unusually hot, and the host did provide an extra fan that was effective at cooling one of the bedrooms.

Excellent location & spacious apartment

No lock on toilet, no bread knife or cooking knife. Although dozens of plates & silver tea service there was only 4 mismatch mugs & no cups. Place needs refreshing

Appartement confortable , bien équipé et bien placé , calme même en centre ville . Très bonne literie . Cuisine spacieuse , avec tout l'electro_menager nécessaire .

.Grande difficulté pour se débarrasser correctement des poubelles ! Il faut prendre la voiture pour les déposer dans les containers de la ville . Pas de rideaux la première nuit dans la deuxième chambre parentale ! Réveil au petit matin plein est. Heureusement le problème a été réglé correctement dès le lendemain .

Great location with nearby restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. Within walking distance of the cathedral, Bayeaux Tapestry and the meeting spot for local tours. The apartment has a washer / dryer combination unit that worked very well. The beds were comfortable and the apartment has a full, well-supplied kitchen.

It wasn’t really 2 bathrooms, only 1 toilet with 2 showers and 2 sinks. The living room furniture was not comfortable. It would have been helpful to have information about the parking - a map of free parking and the rules of parking elsewhere. It was not clear where to take the garbage. For a window covering, one of the bedrooms had just a cloth tucked over a curtain rod which was insufficient.
