Excellent location for access to D-Day beaches, Bayeux. Easy on site parking. Very generously and thoroughly stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits , small cakes, jams, spices, etc. Includes an exprresso maker and washer/dryer. Good bakery within an easy walk, supermarkets nearby. The owner was solicitous and helpful beyond expectations.

A perfect stay in Bayeux

What an excellent stay at Zhanna's apartment! We loved this 2 bedroom apartment a 15 minute walk from the historic centre of Bayeux. With both a bakery for fresh bread and a small market also walking distance we had everything we needed for our breakfasts. We had a car and took advantage of the secured parking garage. We drove all the D-Day sites and also were glad to be able to drive into town at night for dinner when the weather was a bit chilly. The apartment was perfect for two couples and we comfortably shared the bathroom (with separate toilet). Beds were VERY comfortable and it was so quiet at night that we could have the windows open to enjoy the fresh air. But what really sets this apart from other short term rentals (and we've rented quite a few) is the warm welcome and attention from Zhanna! Even before we arrived she was quick to help me with questions (great restaurant recs!) and upon our arrival we were greeted as if we were old friends. She provided us with a few breakfast staples to get us started, a thorough tour of the apartment, parking pass for the city, instructions (and soap) for the very much needed washing machine, and even flowers from her garden and a bottle of Pear Cidre. We spent a comfortable 4 days here and would absolutely return for a much longer time if we could! Thank you Zhanna for providing such a perfect spot!

D-Day Landings- Superb Base, Exceptional Hosts!

I took my partner, and three teenagers. Two very comfortable double beds, with a high end sofa bed in the lounge. The location of this apartment is ideal for visiting all the War points of interest. Its pretty central for all the beach visits, memorials and museums. The apartment was super clean, comfortable and well presented. We were met by the wonderful host- Zhanna who was exceptional from start to finish. Zhanna and Gilles genuinely care. From messaging before you arrive to break the ice, to being attentive. They really look at all the small details. Meticulous. We couldn't have been any happier with our experience!

It is a charming, perfectly located appartment in this small, quiet town, Bayeux. Walking distance from the town center, beside a beatiful botanic garden. The owners Zhanna and Giles are the perfect hosts, kind, attentive and helpful😊The appartment was fully equipped with literally EVERYTHING one could need in a 4 nights stay! Thank you very much Zhanna and Gilles, you made our day so pleasant and comfortable!! Perfect location for D-day tour and for a visit to Normandy.

Everything ! Location, facilities, cleanliness- the apartment had everything we needed - the owner is lovely, non -intrusive and really helpful - we appreciated all her lovely welcome gifts and her attention to detail throughout the apartment - we highly recommend and will be returning guests !

Wonderfull accommodation

Needed transport to get into the city. We had a car so not a problem. Places to park in the city for free were highlighted by host and a city map was provided. A private garage for parking is provided. Security is good and the location is quiet residential. This is an ideal stay for using as a base for touring the Normandy beaches.

Super Accomodation, Super Hosts

Everything was wonderful. Zhanna is a great hostess, made us feel very welcome, showed us around the apartment and its facilities and happily recommended local places to eat , shop and visit. A great welcome pack with fresh flowers in the lounge, wine, cake, biscuits and water in the kitchen. Overall a very comfortable accomodation in a quiet situation with excellent facilities. Next to the botanical gardens, close to the ring road, a short walk to supermarket, Bayeux War Cemetery and 1944 museum.. Use of secure garage.

Great location, in a quiet and very peaceful area. Friendly neighbours. Furnished and decorated to a high standard. Modern appliances. Lovely host, who was very friendly and informative

Maybe a few more english speaking tv channels. The bathroom could get a bit steamed up when taking a shower. Needs a better extractor, but no major issues.

La struttura è molto accogliente, emana calore e sembra di essere nella propria casa. In particolare abbiamo apprezzato l’attenzione ai dettagli, non solo nel design, ma anche negli accessori disponibili in casa (non è mancato nulla). Inoltre i proprietari di casa sono stati molto gentili e premurosi. Tutto perfetto.

Apartament ideal per visitar la zona del Desembarcament de Normandia.

L'apartament està molt ben ubicat per visitar la ciutat de Bayeux i, especialment, la zona del Desenbarcament de Normandia. Molt aprop de Caen. Té tot el necessari per fer la teva estada molt còmoda. Es nota que els propietaris han pensat en tot allò necessari per a una estada perfecte. El millor, sens dubte, va ser l'amabilitat i els consells dels propietaris, una parella encantadora. Del tot recomanable!!!

Estuvimos como en casa

Me gustó todo. El apartamento está perfectamente equipado con todo lo necesario y está decorado con mucho gusto. La anfitriona es muy amable y además nos dio un montón de información sobre la zona (restaurantes, qué ver…). A pesar de que no está en el centro de Bayeux puedes ir andando y llegar en 15 minutos. Si volvemos a visitar esa zona, sin duda, nos volveremos a alojar allí.

Una comoda base per visitare la Normandia

La casa è comoda, accogliente, pulita e superaccessoriata. Ci sono due belle camere matrimoniali, un soggiorno e una cucina, ed è l'ideale per un viaggio con amici o famiglia. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, ti accolgono con calore e danno molti consigli su ristoranti, attività e servizi nei dintorni. C'è a disposizione un comodissimo garage chiuso per la macchina. Da Bayeux si raggiungono facilmente tutti i luoghi famosi della Normandia.

La casa è a 20/25 minuti a piedi dal centro, fattibile ma meglio se si ha la macchina. In centro ci sono dei parcheggi gratuiti e ci sono anche i mezzi pubblici.
