We could not have asked for a better location. The street was quiet, but the close to grocery stores and restaurants, and the heart of the touristy part of Bayeux. Having two bathrooms was nice. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. We were able to manage the temperature by opening windows.

Many of the negative comments in the reviews are still true. There was only one bath towel per guest and not enough hand towels. There were no mats on the bathroom floors. The stairs were quite steep and the railing was wobbly. The bedding was limited to just the duvet. We had only two small rolls of toilet paper for five guests for four nights and one garbage bag supplied. There was no soap in the bathrooms. There was a bad smell coming from the laundry room/bathroom on the third floor and nothing seemed to change that. The parking was not actually part of the place, but a lot across the street where you were expected to get a pass from the grocery store and could not park for more than four hours during the day. Fortunately the timing was right that we were able to get a spot each time with minimal waiting. With a few of these things addressed, my overall rating would have been higher.

Great location, below average accomadations.

location was wonderful. There were very little amenities in the apartment- no soap/towels in the bathrooms for washing hands. Only 1 towel per person for a 7 night stay.

the apartment had a foul odor the entire time we were there and there were ants in the bathrooms. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Great stay, though may not be best for older travelers.

Location was great. A few minutes to the heart of Bayeux. Also, easy parking at the blue disc parking lot across the street. We also liked the fact there was a washer & dryer.

The ground floor is the kitchen, living room, dining room. However, the toilets are upstairs. If you have an older person in your party as we did, it can be difficult for them to climb the stairs whenever they need to use the toilet.

Ideal accommodation for visiting Bayeux

A lovely little house in a great location- in the centre but just off the main street so nice and quiet. it had plenty of space and was well equipped

the house had a very strong cheese Oder when walking in and I’m not sure why there were no top sheets to go over the body but under the quilted cover.

Great Value - Would stay again if visiting Normandy

Great Value! Good location both within Bayeux and for exploring the surrounding Normandy area. Parking usually available for free right across the street. Plenty of space for all 6 of us. Adequately equipped kitchen.

Beds a bit firm. I also personally dislike having to strip the beds and collect towels when paying a cleaning fee - just a minor inconvenience. Upstairs shower-head needs to be replaced.

Superb

Loved the location ,kitchen well equipped .Took me some time to figure out the stove.wifi worked well in the house .Easy to use parking place was across from the house.Looked freshly painted and decorated .concierge responded to our messages promptly. Located five minutes from the hub if activities. A picturusqe canal with mill at the end of the lane.

The stairs going upstairs are very narrow creaky and uneven ,only three bedrooms not four as advertised .Sofa in living room is not at all comfortable for sitting or sleeping .they charged twice for cleaning fee and texted us at time of leaving to throw garbage out to bins that were two blocks away ,an inconvinience .Ants in house and strong smell of some bug spray .

Superb

Plenty of space here! Very clean. Easy parking right across the street. Full kitchen. Grocery store and restaurants within 2 blocks. Downtown is blocks away. Travel by car to the surrounding attractions is 20-30 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

Lots of stairs here in case that is an issue for anyone in your family. Address in listing was wrong, but hopefully they fix that.

LAS FOTOS ESCONDEN LA REALIDAD DEL ALOJAMIENTO.

No nos gustó nada del alojamiento. Fue una sorpresa mayúscula al acceder a él.

El anuncio es un claro ejemplo de adulterar la realidad pues las fotos son engañosas y no demuestran la del alojamiento. Se trata de un reducido salón cocina cuya puerta de acceso (que no se corresponde con la que se publica en el anuncio) da a la calle y con una escalera incomodisima y peligrosa (cuya foto no se publica) que da acceso a las plantas primera (dos dormitorios) y segunda (un dormitorio). No existe decoración en las paredes ni gusto estético. Las toallas son viejas y ásperas, no había papel higiénico y abundaban los mosquitos en las plantas altas. Casa sucia e incómoda.
