Comfortable apartment close to amenities and attractions.

Location close to centre Bayeux. Easy access to shops and attractions. Nice decor. Comfortable bed. Good spacious shower.

No place to park to unload car. Parking place away from apartment. Access sometimes blocked by green grocery deliveries. Door difficult to lock. No Laundry detergent. No fridge freezer despite saying this in the booklet.

....The bakery is on the corner and their products were wonderful. There is a fruit market next door as well. The unit is very comfortable with lots of space. It is well supplied and having a washer/dryer was great (instructions on the cycles would be helpful) Beatrice was great to respond when we contacted her. Parking was free in the lot,only a 5 minute walk away. The beds were very comfortable

The entrance to the unit leaves something to be desired. (Alley with garbage containers) A light over the entry door would be helpful.

Nice big apartment in a perfect location on the main street. Easily accessible and convenient!

There was a mobile A/C unit provided for the unit but the upper floor bedrooms remained very warm and the AC was insufficient.

We needed to use the washing machine and it took a long time to cycle and the dryer didn’t work very well. Not a huge problem though.

Make sure you understand the cultural definitions of the unit description. NO AC - 1 toilet

Location. The town. Parking about 2 blocks away. Several very good bakeries close by. Good coffee maker. Good internet. Functional kitchen/dining/living room area.

1) Difference in language/terminology; Duplex in US means two units located next to each other; in this unit it meant there were two flights of very narrow stairs before you got to the living quarters (not safe for older people.) 2) While there were two sinks and showers in the unit (1 on main floor, 1 on top floor); there was only a single toilet on the main floor for everyone. THIS WAS A BIG SURPRISE AND WOULD HAVE STOPPED US FROM RENTING IF WE HAD CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THIS. 3) The door/alleyway you entered off the street was completely blocked with fruit boxes and pallets (Monday). The garbage dumpsters were visible and had odor some days. 4) The washer worked fine, but the dryer did not dry, even after repeated cycles. There were no instructions on how to use washer/dryer-had to go to internet and download manual. 5) The unit had NO Airconditioning. We could find no unit, no fan, so windows had to be left open for ventilation. This allowed flying insects to enter the unit. THIS WAS A BIG SURPRISE AND WOULD HAVE STOPPED US FROM RENTING IF WE HAD CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THIS. We were lucky that weather was unusually cool. If this was in heat of summer it would not have been tolerable. 6) The refrigerator was fine, but there was no freezer. 7) The beds were very firm; thin mattress. This may be more of a European thing versus what we are used to in US rentals. 8) On the main floor, the sink and shower for the bedroom were literally in the room; no separate bathroom.

Hidden gem

This place was perfect, charming, spacious, well decorated and outfitted for all our needs. Very clean and inviting. Great central location in walking distance of restaurants and baker, butch, small grocery and pharmacy literally out the door. My older kids begged to stay there more nights.

The entrance is a bit hidden but if you follow their pictures directions in the guide they sent its kinda like a treasure hunt for the door. There is a winding staircase that would be tough with smaller children if you had a bunch of gear or a stroller, I have teens so it was no problem.

Great base to stay while visiting the DDay monuments.

. We enjoyed the space and light. It was quirky in that we walked through an alley storage area of a fruits and vegetable shop to get to the apartment. The apartment was situated in a lively street and there were many restaurants to choose from. We found free parking about 700 meters from the apartment. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night.

You needed to be a magician to get the tv to work.

We were disappointed as the description and reviews rated the accommodation much higher.

Location was good next to a boulangerie and fruit market. Nice having 3 bedrooms. Easy walk from train station. Modern showers and sinks. Well equipped kitchen.

We were unable to connect to the Wifi and no support given. We were unable to access our emails for important messages or to use the internet for future bookings. Had to use data and incurred expensive roaming charges. There were 2 flights of stairs to apartment and then a third to bedrooms. Stairs were uneven and curvy and not all had handrails, several of us tripped at least once. Low ceilings upstairs resulted in a few head bangs. Only one water closet on main floor made going to bathroom in night difficult. Only 1/4 roll of toilet paper.

Only negative comment, which was not a big deal - Entry way was through alley between shops and walking past garbage and recylcing to access the door didn't create a great first impression. Lack of soap in bathroom. No sink in same bathroom as toilet.

Apartment located in an accessible location in a Lovely and walkable town.

The apartment was very clean and spaces were decluttered, easy to move in and out of. Very lovely new showers in two bedrooms. Toilet room is located on the main floor of the apartment and serves the whole apartment. Good pots and pans and kitchen accommodations for doing meals at apartment. Very close to stores and free overnight parking only three or so blocks away. Unique entry through back entry to the fruit store, with pretty steep stairs. For able bodied folks this was easy and a perfect place to stay in Bayeux. Would stay again!

Large family and baby.

The family room was large. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. Host was very helpful and quick to respond.

The ceilings were low and my dad banged his head. There were too many stairs. Difficult for mobility issues and pushchair. Also trip hazards. No sink in the toilet so we had to wash our hands in the kitchen sink. The upstairs bedrooms were separated by a curtain not a door.

Beautiful designer apartment near everything

Beautifully renovated upstairs apartment with designer vibes. Original winding wooden stairs, exposed beams, and uneven floors. Full of character! Everything spotlessly clean. Walking distance to pickup point for tours to Normandy beaches and Mont St. Michel. Lots of food options nearby. Pharmacy literally downstairs. Would definitely return if I were to visit the region again!

We had problems with the washing machine; and Adelina tried very hard to get someone to come repair it immediately. The following is NOT a dislike: but the apartment has no elevator. There are 2 levels of old narrow winding wooden stairs to climb with luggage. I thought this added character to the apartment. BUT, this apartment would not be easily accessible with walking difficulties or very bad knees

Great apartment, great location! Fresh pastries right at the entry. Very convenient location to explore this wonderful town or venture out to explore D-Day locations. The beds were comfortable and all the furnishings were comfortable. The home is pleasantly decorated as illustrated by the photos. We would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom situation was a little unorthodox. The showers and sinks are in the rooms and there is one toilet. That said, they are very nice and it was convenient to have more than one shower.
