Extremely clean and well equipped. Spacious light apartment full of character. Central, superbe location within walking distance to car park, shops, restaurants, bars and historical monuments.

A second WC would be good as there is only one.

Lack of clear information that there was only 1 WC Wi-Fi was not fixed We needed advance information about the 36 narrow, steep stairs ( we knew about some stairs, but not how steep etc) Difficult locks, hence concern about emergency exit

Amazing location, so central to town and flat really clean and well equipped and really comfortable. Homely and modern yet with character. Loved it.

Nothing. There was only one toilet on the middle floor and two flights of fairly steep stairs to get to the apartment which would be a problem if any of your party have mobility issues. But this did not bother us as we are all able bodied and we were aware of this when we booked it and so we were very happy. We only mention it incase anyone is looking to book it who needs easier mobility. But we loved it all.

We liked the location of the property and the free parking which was literally 4 minutes walk from the apartment. We liked the decor inside the apartment and the beds were comfortable.

We did not like having to walk through an alleyway used by the two shops downstairs, especially the fruit and veg shop. The floor was extremely dirty and it stank of the bins which were positioned just inside the door from the street. We could not open the windows as flies and mosquitoes came in due to the bins and fruit/veg in the alleyway. We also complained after the first night that one bed was missing a sheet and we were told that due to the extreme heat in the apartment the cleaning staff had suffered and forgotten to put it on the bed but they did not offer to drop it off. It was very very hot due to a heatwave and very unpleasant to sleep upstairs even with air conditioning as there was zinc roofing above the shower room which generated extreme heat in the shower itself and the room attached. A solution would have been to put a door on the ensuite shower room to stop the heat escaping into the 2 bedrooms upstairs. We could not sleep up there as the newly installed air-conditioning was positioned above the stairs between the 2 bedrooms and all the cool air went downstairs not sideways into the bedrooms. We did mention we couldn’t sleep upstairs and had a very patronising email pointing out that there was air conditioning. Luckily there was only 3 of us but we booked this apartment as it offered 3 bedrooms. We all slept downstairs, one person on the settee and two people sharing the bed downstairs. The duvet covers and pillow cases were synthetic material, not cotton so that did not help us to sleep. There was no sink in the shared toilet even though there is room for one so everyone had to wash their hands in the downstairs bedroom. Would I recommend this property, yes but only in winter.
