Fantastic stay for a historic or leisure holiday!

The whole house is big and confortable for the 4 of us. We love to cook so with the huge Leclerc next to us we cooked our own diners at night and did our lunches at the D-Day locations we were that day. Shower is big and the beds are good. Also a personal parking space in front of the house.

The only negative was that we only had a roll and a half of toilet paper for 4 people. The place is amazing, and I highly recommend this lodging.

If we visited Bayeux again, we'd happily stay again!

The property has been refurbished recently and all was in good order, well decorated and very comfortable. The house, although on a fairly busy road was peaceful in the evening and overnight, and just a 5 minute level walk to the old town.

The external entrance area would benefit from some attention to match the internal standard of finish..

A very enjoyable stay in a comfortable family home.

The property was self catering so no breakfast. The location was good as it was about a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Bayeux.

The layout of the house meant there was no toilet upstairs where all the bedrooms were. It was just about manageable for the young and elderly people in our party but could be a problem for others.

Spacious and easy walk into Bayeux

the location was amazing and the house is spacious. There is a fabulous hypermarket close by and easy walk into Bayeux town.

The walls are very thin and as there were 5 of us staying (all adults) one toilet was a challenge.

Excellent place to stay

The house was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we need and the living area was very comfortable. The owner provided a bottle of cider and a packet of local biscuits which was a nice gesture. There is a huge supermarket within 5 minutes walk and the cathedral was only 10 minutes walk. I would highly recommend this house.

It was a nice stay but I wish there were more towels!

Location was great, hosts were great, tortoise was fun to have on location. Living room was great.

Only 2 towels for the whole house, weird smell that saturated our clothes (strong frankincense smell in bedroom?). Locks were very hard to open and unlock. No hand towels in bathroom.

Fabulous location for Bayeaux

Ideal location to visit Normandy. Well placed for Bayeaux town, war cemetaries and D-day museums. Lovely and clean. Very spacious accommodation and close to a great supermarket. Would stay again.

Would have liked a toilet upstairs as had older relatives with us but managed ok.

A lovely place to stay

Great place to stay and rechatge for a couple of days. Bedrooms were good, kitchen is excellent, was lovely to sit & relax in the backyard. Plus, as a bonus, thte turtle cam out to visit & say goodbye on our last day. Un endroit idéal pour passer quelques jours et se ressourcer. Les chambres étaient bien, la cuisine excellente, et il était agréable de s'asseoir et de se détendre dans le jardin. En prime, la tortue est venue nous rendre visite et nous dire au revoir le dernier jour.

El mejor lugar desde el que visitar las Playas de Normandía

La ubicación de la casa es extraordinaria: Fácil acceso por carretera; zona muy tranquila y sin ruido de tráfico ; zona muy segura al contar con una Comisaría de la Gendarmerie próxima; muy cercana al Centro y a la Catedral; supermercado y gasolinera a 300 metros; aparcamiento delante de la casa. La casa es muy acogedora y bien equipada en mobiliario, cocina y ropa de cama. Cuenta con un jardín dotado de barbacoa en el que puedes disfrutar de la conversación.

Tout était parfait!!!

Maison familiale très bien située, très agréable à vivre, très bien équipée et joliment décorée. Nous étions proche du Leclerc et du centre ville. Bayeux est très joli à visiter, proche des plages du débarquement ainsi que toutes les visites à faire sur la 2eme guerre mondiale. Le soleil était au rendez vous!! Très bon relationnel avec les propriétaires. Nous garderons un beau souvenir de notre venue.

Geweldig! Mooie plaats en erg leuk huis. Très joli et très propre!

De locatie is op loopafstand van de kathedraal van Bayeux en het museum met het prachtige tapijt van Bayeux. Dat ligt dus in het centrum van de stad. Maar je bent met de auto ook zo bij Omaha Beach en iets verder weg Utah Beach. Mont Saint Michel is ongeveer 90 minuten rijden, erg mooi! Tankstations en Aldi zijn om de hoek. Het huis heeft een prachtige omheinde tuin. Moderne keuken en badkamer beneden. Zeer ruime huiskamer en eettafel. Apart toilet beneden. Boven drie ruime slaapkamers. Er zijn rolluiken voor de ramen, als je dat wilt. Tegen over het huis is de gendarmerie, dus zeer veilig 😉 De weg voor het huis is redelijk druk, maar absoluut geen last van gehad. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer! En de schildpad is schattig!

Was fijn geweest als we geweten hadden wat voor koffie apparaat er was. Wij dachten senseo maar was gewoon apparaat. Dus even koffie gekocht. Ook had ik wat moeite met het handvat van de pannen. Er is een handvat wat je voor alle pannen kunt gebruiken, niet zo handig als je meerdere pannen op de kookplaat hebt staan.

Die Unterkunft liegt gut erreichbar zum Ortskern Bayeux. Der Supermarkt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Garten ist wunderschön; hat viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und einen Grill. Für Familien mit Kindern ist es Perfekt. Die Gastgeber Lucie und Mark sind zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in Bayeux.
