Nothing It’s superb

This is a nice hotel, conveniently located about five minutes drive from the A16, which we have stayed at a number of times before. Good room and bathroom, with a good buffet breakfast. Plenty of parking on site.

On this occasion we were disappointed with the menu in the restaurant. Previously we have been offered a ‘menu of the day’, always well cooked and served with a good choice. This time, for some inexplicable reason, they have restricted the menu, so that one can only have a ‘fish of the day’ or a ‘meat of the day’. That day’s special was moules and chips, which we didn’t like or want, and we had to appeal to a manager to get what was apparently the only portion of another fish on the premises. To be fair, the manager clearly realised we were not happy and gave us a glass each of wine, but we are now seriously wondering if we will return if they do not do something with the menu. We would be sad about this as the hotel is very nice and convenient for us when we back and to between Calais and Brittany.

This hotel is up to the high standards that we've come to expect from all Best Western hotels, with all the facilities that you may require. It is a perfect location as an overnight stay for anyone either going or returning from France. We've stayed here many times and it never fails to satisfy us. As a bonus, it also has charging points for any electric car.

Very clean. Very good location.

No restaurant on Sunday and Monday evenings. Breakfast very average. We have been staying at this hotel since it opened, it used to be exceptional, but it has now externally very tired.
