Comfortable stay in a nice apartment

Nice newly decorated apartment situated on the top floor ( lift only went up to floor below then stairs ) in a separate but adjacent part of the hotel. Only there one night but it had small kitchen with utensils, pans and cutlery to enable a comfortable stay for a few days.

No tea or coffee provided. Daughter found the sofa bed rather hard but that was a personal opinion. Was a particularly windy evening when we stayed and the wind whistled loudly along the corridor though eventually we solved the problem by blocking the gap under the door with a towel. Much of the previously free parking in the area is now pay only after 9am and free again after 7pm though you get an hour free if you register . The hotel is on the edge of this zone so it is possible with a bit of searching to find free parking not too far away and the hotel has a map detailing the zones and tariffs .

Served the purpose of our stay.

The breakfast was good plenty of choice. We had evening meal which was included in our stay, there was a difference in the value of the meal from what was on our booking info and what the hotel were allowing. Even their web site differed. Great location, plenty of parking, close to shops ect.

No milk on tea /coffee tray in room. Entry card also operated lighting in room so if someone wanted to stay in room no lights. We did get another so problem solved. Room very hot even with radiator switched off. Rooms rather compact.

We arrived on a cold winter's late afternoon. There was ample parking around though no hotel car park. To be fair externally it looks tired, but inside it was warm, clean, friendly and welcoming. We had booked half board and the dinner was excellent and the breakfast good. I would highly recommend this hotel and was surprised to see that the in season price was not too bad either.

Good value deal for 2-star hotel in central location. TV, decent bathroom and shower, hairdryer. Coffee and tea in room. Clean white linens. Effective light-blocking electric shutters. Warm enough, Friendly check-in staff.

Hotel building is from Belle Epoque era and has much potential but, like Berck sur Mer itself, is looking a little tired. The common parts and elements within the room (with dull a view of a roof) could do with a spruce-up. Mattress far too soft for my comfort. Disturbing noise transfer from people coming and going on floor above could be acoustically improved

First floor suite, really comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom (spotlessly clean). Breakfast was average but buffet constantly replenished. Helpful staff at checkout - no English spoken (hurrah!).

There had been a water leak from the room above and the bedroom carpet had an unavoidable wet patch. Arrived late and was subject to an automated check in which worked well but would have been better if a member of staff had been around. No food available after 10pm but managed to get a hot drink. Looks like the owners have made a real effort to provide clean and comfortable rooms but the hotel is sadly marred by the shabby exterior and public areas.

Very nice hotel in the center of Berck, Easy and quick access to beaches and city center

The room are almost like new, cosy and clean. Right in the center of the city, in front of Casino and Cinema, 5 min walk from the beach and citxy center / main shops. Staff very friendly, you can eat at the downstairs restaurant/brasserie

Room was a bit too small with very little space where to put clothes. No cupboard, only a large drawer + 2 hangers.

Good value for your money

We booked a formula with half board and the food was really good; also the proposed menu offered a lot of options. The room was refurbished and had 2 french window doors (a lot of fresh air). The hotel is situated in the center of Berck at walking distance from the beaches.

Lovely Place

The welcome, the friendliness, the provision of a parking place for my motorbike, the menu and the ambience. The proprietors were extremely helpful and learned that chicken doesn't need to be bland. I'd definitely go back.

The decor was a little outdated and the toilet was quite cramped.

J’ai séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel et j’en garde une excellente impression. Le personnel a été très aimable, toujours aux petits soins et d’une grande politesse. La chambre était confortable, propre et calme, idéal pour un séjour reposant. Le service était irréprochable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et n’hésiterai pas à y revenir lors de mon prochain passage.

Catastrophe

Logés dans un bâtiment attenant à l'hôtel noté 1 étoile. La chambre studio n"12 est minuscule et d'un autre temps. On nous a demandé de faire le lit. La douche fait 1m2 le toilette est à peine utilisable Si vous dépassez 1.60. La catastrophe..... Rien à voir avec les photos produites par votre site. Vous ne m'y reprendrez plus.

Positionnement face au Casino : pratique. Excellent petit déjeuner. Restaurant bistronomique : 2 eme fois que nous dinons sur place, les plats sont de très bonne qualité. Pour ma part, j'ai pris une viande avec foie gras, la viande était parfaitement cuite comme demandé, accompagnée d'une sauce délicieuse et généreuse, petite remarque : pour le foie gras, j'aurai apprécié une part 2 fois plus grande, quitte à payer le plat 5 € plus cher. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant, vous passerez un moment agréable.

Ajouter un vin liquoreux à la carte, Montbazillac, Sauterne.
