A good place to stay when visiting the lovely town of Chambery

The location is great. In the middle of town and near the station. The bar at the hotel had a great 'locals' vibe.

The room was basic but good for a good value overnight stay.

Position good, nice friendly bar downstairs, calm area at the weekend. Easy parking, a few cafés open in the area for a light breakfast

A lot of dust in the room ..the bathroom smell a lot we had to keep the window open cause it's unbearable inside .... The terrace door is broken as we can't lock it from inside . No lift not an issue but the hotel looks old inside .. Apary to he location not value foroney

No better hotel for price and location in Chambery

Location. 5 minutes from railway and bus station. 5 minutes from all the major tourist sites, 15 minutes walk to hospital. Close to tourist information and LOTS OF SHOPS! Hotel. Separate from the bar. Very quiet. Room is clean and tidy, en suite the same. Hanging rail and storage. Kettle and TV. Lovely and warm. New proprietors so not serving meals but a great choice of breakfast places andvrestaurants within 200 metres. It is so very reasonably priced - I will return.

Cute room, friendly staff, instant coffee in the room + kettle, pet friendly, affordable price, perfect location next to train station. Overall really nice stay!

No complaints, the room is small but that was expected. Reading the other reviews we we're expecting something worse but this place is perfectly fine and doesn't deserve such a low rating.

The trash bin was not emptied from the last guest. The shower could be more cleaner as well. The windows look on the street, some people can not enjoy the sounds from the bar, but again for this affordable price I think it is not a big deal.

Clean and comfortable hotel

For me this was a clean and comfortable room in a very good location, close to the train station and bus station, for city centre location it wasn't too noisy, if I was to come here in the future I would probably choose this place again.

When i arrived the reception wasn't open , it was a little awkward checking in, but this wasn't a big problem, as everything worked out fine.

Disappointing

It was not the hotel we booked, it was changed on the telephone whilst we were travelling there! It was extremely hot, very noisy, nothing like the pictures of lovely rooms online in need of updating, broken bathroom door and no parking at all!
