A great welcome and a very helpful and friendly team. Great food , dinner and breakfast and very comfortable bedroom. The building has been very creatively constructed from older properties and is attractive and interesting. Great location for seeing the old town.

Car parking could be a challenge, strongly recommend the valet parking service, works perfectly.

They carefully considered our wishes for the stay, and on the very day of our arrival, the receptionist personally contacted us to confirm our arrival time — a thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for what was to come. From that moment on, our large family was treated with an extraordinary level of attention that truly set our stay apart. Despite traveling as a big group, we never felt like “just another reservation” — the staff anticipated our needs and took care of every single detail as if they knew us personally. Their personalized service felt like something out of a dream: seamless room service that turned our evenings into cozy, candlelit moments, perfectly presented with glassware and cloches; attentive concierge support that helped craft delightful outings and surprises for our kids; and thoughtful room setup that made every one of us feel seen and valued. It was this heartfelt, family-centered approach that turned our trip into something memorable. The hotel’s amenities elevated our experience further: relaxing swims in the indoor pool, rejuvenation in the steam room and sauna, indulgent moments in the SpaSuite, and invigorating visits to the fitness studio — all crafted with care and accessible at just the right times for our family’s rhythm. What impressed us most was how the staff seemingly anticipated small wishes before we even voiced them — a fresh snack for the little ones, a seamlessly arranged transfer, or a timely surprise that made the children’s faces light up. It’s rare to find a place where every interaction feels genuine and warm, and Petit Hôtel Confidentiel is firmly in that category. Honestly, there was nothing significant we didn’t like. If anything, we just wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa and relaxation facilities.

Everything! Very intimate space, lush and warm. Exceptional service and incredible Host and owner.

Car via valet only and only from 8am to 10. This is not a huge problem as there is street parking and it’s close by.

In my life-and I will be 80 next year-I have been lucky enough to stay in some of the finest hotels that exist on the Planet. I have stayed on every Continent-well, maybe not Antarctica-and have seen some of the finest locations anywhere. You cannot fault the likes of The Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Fairmont, Belmont etc,etc but none of them has managed to produce that almost magical combination of style,quality,service and cuisine that you will enjoy if you are lucky enough to go there. There is nowhere quite like it in my experience. The owners of the hotel are utterly and completely charming and their sole objective is make a guests stay as pleasurable as possible. If there was an award for the title of The Best Hotel in the World, the Petit Hotel Confidential would surely be a leading contender.

I loved the design of the hotel and the little touches that make it look so so visually appealing! The room was stunning, the hostess was extremely helpful and such a lovely woman who helped us book a table for dinner, help us find our way around town, and give us suggestions that we loved! I felt at ease not planning this part of the trip beforehand cause she made it so much more fun for us! The 50 minute private pool and hammam session was such a blessing for our jet lagged aching feet after travelling.

This is my second time at Petit Hôtel, it is my pleasure to stay at this hotel, it is clean, nice, cozy, very special interior design, delicious food, great location, great services,lovely and friendly staff. We were cared for exceptionally well from the moment we walked in. The management are professional and pay attention to small details. The building is gorgeously maintained (I believe they said it was from the 13th century) and the room was modern and had all the necessities plus extra. We enjoyed the fact that the steam room/pool was reserved privately for all guests which was a surprise and made our stay very special. The restaurant was one of the best dinners we have had.

Very well located, full of character, beautiful and spacious room and very quiet. The team makes you feel very welcomed and are always at hand to help. Confidential isn’t just in the name, it is fully part of the experience. The continental breakfast served in the room was a particular highlight, freshly made bread and succulent croissant & pain au chocolat topped up with a delicious local honey (I can’t recommend enough the honey!).
