People can see you through the apartment window in the living room/kitchen

Property is in a good location to explore the city. Check-in is easy and uncomplicated. The host responds fast. We had everything that we needed in the accommodation.

With 180cm body height or more, you can’t stand in the shower. And I do think, that the accomodation is a bit overpriced. But that’s probably all the other accommodation of the same category and size as well. Must be a touristic-city-problem.

The location was super. It could hardly have been better in the Alfama. Close to every amenity, it was perfect for those who wanted the Alfama experience. It's a very nice, well equipped (it has a washing machine and a large fridge - and a first aid kit!) and absolutely spotless, if not exactly a five star, apartment. But then, nor is the Alfama a five star location -it's a warren of houses shops and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed - and the Alfama has everything five star areas don't have - personality, not least! The building in which number 1 Casinha dos Remedios, is located, was built in 1757!! When I go back to Lisbon, I'm going to Alfama and I'd be perfectly happy to live in number 1 again. .

The apartment is small-ish and the bedroom is not large. So the bed, which is not big, is a tight-ish fit. It works, but only just. And the ceiling is very low. I'm over 6 feet tall and the ceiling was rather too close to my head. Things are tighter in the bathroom -I bumped my head almost every time I used the toilet, and the shower is even smaller with a hand shower because you can't get under a shower head. (But, again, it all works!)

The location excellent, vibey neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Close to central and a good base to explore the city. Parking relative close with only a short walk.

Small apartment and not very comfortable - ok for a short stay. We were disappointed with the general quality of the unit, shower was bad, bar chairs wobbly and uncomfortable, ventilation in bedroom non existent and bed only ok.
