About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in Alfama, the oldest area of the city que dates back to the Arab Times. The building was fully renovated in 2012. Although the facade Has Been preserved, the inside is completely new: one spacious living / dining area, with a kitchenette, one bedroom and one bathroom. You can enjoy nice views of the river and National Pantheon. The apartment offers all modern facilities and is fully equipped (including 2 heaters). Free Internet is Also provided.
Here you'll find everything you'll need to feel comfortable and still get a glimpse of the old town atmosphere.
Next to the apartment, there's the "National Pantheon" and the famous "flea market" - Flea Market (every Tuesday and Saturday), where you can find almost everything, such as antiques, handicrafts, old books, etc.
Within a 5-minute walk, you can visit the splendid Museum of Fado (heritage of Humanity. Nearby you will find a lot of restaurants with live Fado performances, cafes, grosseries, traditional shops and art galleries.
Also Within some minutes walking, there is the popular tram No. 28, that does the scenic tour of Lisbon Hills.
The apartment is close to the main train station and Metro station, Santa Apolonia, And Also acessible by bus or tram.

Great location! and apartment was comfortable. Do know it's up 3 flights of stairs. Bed comfortable. Some noise on the weekends from nearby partiers (you may want to bring earplugs). Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Our host was so helpful and had a wonderful binder of resources for places to visit and hints on the culture. The apartment was lovely and had great views. Location was superb- a bit crowded at times but close to the water, plenty of shops, etc and amazing people. Would definitely stay again!

Just as advertised - location, view, etc were all perfect! I ignored the reviews about the stairs and brought a huge suitcase anyway… dont do that. LOL. Stairs aren’t bad but with a huge bag, it was a journey!
