The villa is idyllic with a large infinity pool, looking out across a lush green valley and off to a beautiful view of the sea. Outside barbecuing, cooking in the well appointed kitchen, relaxing in any of the many outdoor seating areas above and around the pool, or just chilling in the spacious living areas, made this a perfect relaxing home from home. We were greeted by our Host who was most friendly and showed us all of the features of the house before leaving us to our relaxing and wonderful holiday in Nice and the surrounding area.
This house was perfectly placed to reach the centre of Nice and from there transport links carried us to Monaco, St Paul de Vance, St Jean Cap Ferrat and Cannes. We would hardly recommend this home for any family or group of adults.

Essentially this is a very comfortable traditional villa with great facilities in a superb location overlooking Nice. Although the drive from Nice sea front is about 3.5 km, zig zagging up the steep narrow road, the walk down via several short cuts takes just 20 minutes. Surprisingly there is a frequent bus service up and down the hill which connects with an even more frequent tram service into the heart of Nice old town, and in the other direction the airport, so at a pinch one might manage without a car.
Highlight for us of the villa was the superb infinity pool which made the best of the fabulous views, though the depth at 3ft would not make it ideal for small children. We were impressed with the very efficient and very quiet air conditioning in the bedrooms, and while there is no air conditioning downstairs this was not a problem.
The photos on the Vrbo site, particularly of the bedrooms, do not do the property justice and are somewhat misleading in that two of the five photos are of the same bedroom but with different furniture and décor. The fourth bedroom is not very satisfactory as the bed comprises a fairly thin mattress on top of a 3ft high shelf. In the bedroom information this is listed as a twin/single though it would be a tight squeeze for two. No bedding, other than a sheet, was provided for this room so it was lucky we had a sleeping bag with us. Would be much better if this room had bunk beds which would properly increase the sleeping capacity to 8.
Although the facilities in the villa are all that you would require, we got the impression that this is very much the family home and it is let out as is with no particular concessions as to what the rental market might expect. For instance, rather than a matching set of stainless-steel saucepans from Ikea you get a miscellaneous collection of ancient pans many of which have seen better days. There are a great many plates and dishes collectively with more chips than a MacDonald’s happy meal. There are plenty of odd cups and saucers but if you want one of a sensible size for a cup of tea best bring your own. Also as we had hired the villa for two weeks we were expecting that we might get a change of bed linen after a week, but none was forthcoming. Don’t be put off by any of the above which are minor issues under the scheme of things. We had a great holiday and think that at the price we would have been hard pushed to find a better villa in such a convenient location.

"This villa is excellent!! The accommodation is spacious, clean, with excellent facilities. The quiet and very peaceful outside area is well laid out and provides a good combination of shaded areas and sunny areas for sunbathing. The infinity pool is fabulous, with a superb view towards the sea while swimming in the pool. It is also one of the cleanest pools I have ever seen. At night there is a view of the city's lights and a lighthouse. Although the road down the hill has many twists and turns, it only takes ten minutes to get into the heart of Nice, and 15-20 minutes to the airport. I cannot speak highly enough of the owner's attention to detail, and the exceptional hospitality he provided. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house, and for a fantastic holiday."

Nous avons séjourné dans cette superbe villa durant 2 semaines. Tout été au rendez vous, la villa ete magnifique, le jardin et la piscine très bien entretenu, arbre fruitier, vue plongeante sur la mer, service de ménage, 10 min du centre ville ... Cuisine intérieure toute équipé, cuisine extérieure pratique. L’intérieur de la maison très cosy et agréable. Nous avons également apprécier la gentillesse et la flexibilité du propriétaire. A refaire sans hésitation.

Cette belle maison provençale, spacieuse et agréablement équipée, nous a permis de passer de très bonne vacances. La piscine a débordement, d'une propreté exceptionnelle, est tous simplement magique avec sa vue plongeante sur la méditerranée. La Promenade des Anglais n'est qu'à quelques minutes en voiture et les commerces, dont un supermarché avec parking gratuit, rendent cette maison idéalement située. Après une bonne journée de découvertes dans Nice, quel plaisir de rentrer le soir à la maison et retrouver le calme et la beauté de cet endroit magnifique. Et en bonus, Alain, le propriétaire des lieux, est un gentleman qui a fait tout le nécessaire pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux.
Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit à toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent passer des vacances au calme et se détendre car cette location peut se résumer ainsi : zéro soucis, zéro tracas et plaisir garanti !

"Vacanza stupenda, una villa fantastica per una famiglia è l'ideale, la posizione è ottima perchè è vicinissima al centro ma sei praticamente in collina e quindi il clima è perfetto, non troppo caldo di giorno e ventilato la notte. La vista è incantevole, si vede il mare e non hai nessun edificio davanti che ti ostacola la visuale. C'è molta privacy e la notte regna il silenzio, i vicini sembra quasi che non esistano. La casa è pulita e super attrezzata, c'è la possibilità di parcheggiare fino a 3 auto con molta facilità. La piscina è il pezzo forte della casa, molto bella e pulita, quando fai il bagno e guardi il mare ti sembra quasi di esserci dentro.I Sig.ri Benoudiz sono persone molto educate, accoglienti e servizievoli, se hai bisogno loro ci sono sempre. Grazie della bellissima vacanza."
