About this house rental
Perched on a hill overlooking Nice, our historic stone farmhouse coes with lovely views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding hills. The property is seated on a very old olive grove on an acre of land, and the garden receives a refreshing breeze. Originally a Roman watchtower, our entirely renovated 'Mas Provençal' was built in several stages over the centuries, and is steeped with character & charm.
The house is an ideal family holiday home, with lots of outdoor and indoor space, including a big heatable swimming pool, a ping pong table, barbecue and plancha.
The spacious and shaden garden is perfectly safe for children & the land is protected by a wall and intercom for visitors.

Old rustic house with excellent pool, magnificent views and charm. We all loved the pool, playing boules and table tennis( provided). House was clean - plenty of towels. No air con but fans in every room sufficient to keep us cool in very hot weather. Hosts were easy to communicate with. We did not have a car but used public transport- bus at bottom of drive( every half an hour or three quarters connects with tram. Centre of Nice half an hour away using public transport. Used Über a couple of times which were very good. We travelled to Mention, Cannes and Monte Carlo by public transport easily. Without a car boulangerie/ restaurants were not easy. We used Über Eats twice to order food.. Recommended - we ;a three generations family enjoyed ourselves

We were a three generation family with 7 adults and 4 children who had a wonderful visit in Nice staying in this beautiful and comfortable house and garden. The pool was also much appreciated.

Beautiful house and garden. Very well equipped kitchen and good sized barbecue. Lots of seating areas outside, we were spoilt for choice. Swimming pool was lovely. Is on a steep hill but there is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive and tram stop at the bottom of the hill, so it is very easy to get into Nice and only 1.50 euro each way. Some lovely restaurants 10/15 mins walk away. Good communication from the owners, who were unable to greet us on arrival but very kindly phoned to check we had got there and everything was ok. Very easy to do a day trip to Monaco on public transport.
We had a fantastic 2 weeks and none of us wanted to leave at the end of it! Would definitely recommend and would definitely book again if holidaying near Nice.
