Sparkling clean, peaceful and quiet with a super lovely host. Comfortable bed, nice en-suite bathroom, and can't be thankful enough for the private parking. The city centre is a max. 10 minutes walk, we can only recommend, and will definitely return :)

The owners were present daily in and around the property and were always lovely to speak to. The bathroom was a great size for two people and was very cleaned. The owners were also available to service the room; seemingly everyday, if you so wish. The location was great - a ten minute walk to the beach front, shops and entertainment - far enough away that it wasn't noisy at the night but not far enough away to be inconvenient. The free on site parking was also a big relief as all the other hotels we looked at charged ~10£ a day which really adds up over a longer stay! The room itself had a really comfortable feel to it.
Two objective points that could have been better and one subjective point.
Objective points are that there was only one plug socket free in the room with easy access. We aren't tech heavy people so it wasn't a huge problem, but two sockets would have made a big difference for us to both charge out phones in the evening. The other point is that the WiFi was very weak in our room. It would constantly disconnect and make planning our day-trips and watching a movie in the evening very annoying.
Subjective point is that we didn't find the bed very comfortable. I'm sure this will be different for others but the mattress just felt very thin and lacked the support we are used to.
