Breakfast was great, lovely bar and good prices, entertainment room was great. All staff were polite, good location, Overall very happy with hotel. If we come to Newquay again I would like to book in at this hotel again.

The room we had was a little bit cramped in the bathroom. I feel car parking should be free at the hotel its like putting up prices by the back door. This is not enough to deter me from coming back to this hotel though.

Great holiday in Cornwall but hotel was a big disappointment

Indoor swimming pool was great Breakfast great

Room cleaning not done on a few occasions and we used to come back to a room with everything untidy even when u asked the reception they said they would clean and they did not Room size very small and outdated Beds are very uncomfortable Too much noise coming from the second floor at night you could hear everything on the 1 st floor. Personally I will visit the area again but won’t be staying in that hotel anymore not worth the money paid for 7 days

Entrance ramp and door, not too good for wheelchair users.ramp too steep and has a turn, then a narrow ramp in the main door, which is also narrow and difficult to hold open when you are in a wheelchair.

great location, staff and value for money

staff were fantastic and very friendly. location was perfect. the room was perfect for what i needed. stayed 4 or 5 times now and will continue to visit.

I didn't like that people swimming left there clothes and belongings in the changing rooms, so I had no room to get changed. This happened a few times. A note is needed to tell swimmers to take there clothes with them and put them by the sun loungers by the pool.

The location ( bus stop for the airport was right in front of the hotel, only a few minutes walk to the town centre and close to the coast walking trails). The room was spotless and quiet, staff pleasant and helpful.

Nice to have a working TV in the room. Not always a 'given'!

The price did not include breakfast. There was a fee for parking. My bedroom window was frosted - so no view even of the sky. The front desk staff member on arrival was a bit frosty, too. No smile, or welcome. I got the feeling I was an inconvenience. The evening meal menu was not displayed. As I thought I'd get my head bitten off, I decided to brave the weather and go in search of something to eat elsewhere.

Such a relaxing and nice experience!

Lovely and quiet hotel. We stayed as a family and had a great experience. Our key card stopped working, but the staff solved it right away. Everyone at the reception was very kind and helpful.

The pools were great, both indoor and outdoor. Everything was nice if you’re not the kind of person who’s super fussy about details.

A very enjoyable and pleasant stay. Well worth staying here..

Room was good quality, comfortable and very clean. House keeping was very good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The evening meal was good with a limited menu but a very good choice of courses. Suited us well and very good price compared to other so-called quality restaurants in the town, some of which were very expensive. Happy to recommend a stay here. Good value for money. When we come back to Newquay, which we will, we'll certainly stay here again.

Would be a little bit out of the centre for some people but the walk into town was pleasant thanks to the lovely weather we had. There is a bus every hour though. One minor thing, the toilet door in the room was difficult to close quietly, so between 11 pm and 7 am you were a bit aware of the noise. A very, very minor issue though.

Revisiting Newquay

Nice sea view room. Clean with everything we needed. Good buffet breakfast and friendly, efficient staff. Bath in bathroom, which is always a bonus for me. Located a short walk into town, but near two lovely small beaches, where we really enjoyed walking at low tide and during sunset. Heated indoor pool, which is open for long periods of time so you can probably find a time when it is not too busy. The beaches are lovely to walk on during low tide, when you can cross from one to another.

The area has a number of derelict hotels and nearby building work, which might put some off. Newquay is a mixed bag to visit, although we enjoyed our short stay. Go for a sea view room if you can.

Lovely hotel with good facilities, warm and welcoming staff in a great location.

Great location. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Clean and bright and airy. The staff were very friendly and happily accommodated food for my young daughter who is gluten free. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of options. Cooked options were hot and not overly greasy like many other buffets. We would definitely stay again.

Indoor pool was slightly on tired side although it was clean and we still enjoyed plenty of use out of it in the mornings. It was lovely and warm and my girls had plenty of fun in there.

Dirty pool at the bottom. My child dropped a toy at the bottom of the pool and he picked it up covered in dirt and hair. You get what you pay for I guess. The price is for the location and nothing else. We later moved to watergate Bay which was in line with our standard.

I don’t like anything . I thought I could but the treatment from staff and the reception just put me off from the minute I checked in.

The reception was cold and seems forced. The staff looked like they have attitude based on interactions especially all the ladies at the reception. The only person at the reception that was good to me was a man (whose name I can’t remember) The rest. I can’t even describe how awful the experience was.
