Great location close to beaches, shops and attractions

Excellent location: - 10 minutes walk to Towan and Great Western beaches, less than 30 minutes to Fistral and Lusty Glaze. 2 minutes to town centre shops, and restaurants, and the zoo, aquarium and Trenance Gardens are easily walkable. Excellent facilities - room was immaculate. Lovely touches like a silent mini fridge and USB charging ports in the bedside plug socket so I didn't need an adaptor plug. Excellent host - friendly, helpful and responsive to messages. A lovely seaside stay!

a lovely comfortable room in a great location

The accomodation was very close to the town the fridge was a bonus so it was nice to take cold bottles of water out and had a lovely bowl of sweets in the entry hall

Great Location

Great location. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, drug stores and bus station.

Communication with Ben was a little difficult. I had no phone number or email to reach him directly. I was having difficulty getting into the guesthouse but fortunately Ben just happened to be driving by at the time and helped me with the combination to access the key. Once I had the opportunity to meet Ben he was very helpful and gave me his WhatsApp number so I could reach him in the future, but it wan't necessary. While he has an apartment on the main floor, I don't think he actually lives there. Because Ben appears to be an absentee landlord, I arranged with a neighboring BandB to work with the luggage transfer service.

I’ve never stayed somewhere so clean! From the moment you walk through the door, it smells amazing and was perfect for me and my son. All the little detail and touches make a difference. Was very impressed, especially with the price and with the location! The bed itself was a dream and so comfortable. The owners are super lovely and make you feel welcome, reply to messages very quickly also.

Amazing friendly welcoming guesthouse. Ideal location and host

From the moment we arrived seeing how lovely it looked from the outside! Location was perfect for our stay, right near everything! Very quiet too. No road noise or anything! Self check in was easy, Our room Lusty Glaze was fabulous! Great size for us both with everything you need! So happy with the wide window, plenty of light. .bed was comfy and stylish. .bathroom was fantastic. .mini fridge was so needed, and great size too. . We loved the decor, attention to detail was amazing. . Whatever you use to wash the towels smells wonderful!! . . Lollys and sweets when you enter the guesthouse is a fantastic touch too. . As for Ben, what a wonderful,friendly dude. .you made us feel very welcome. You and your son are a great team. . . Thank you so much! . .we cant wait to return.. . . !

Lovely visit, lovely host !

Ben was very friendly, great location, clean and spacious room. Lots of freebies given to us!

Only fault was how warm the room was and only a little fan. However we went in peak summer!!

Lovely little apartment

The apartment was located right in the city centre, in a walking distance from the local beach and Fistral beach. The room was clean and comfortable and we also found a little tray with selection of teas and coffees on the table. The owner was very nice and helpful!

Fantastic standard, masterclass hospitality, great location

Never experienced anything as good as this accommodation. Absolutely clean and fresh but hospitality was even more impressive. All parts of welcoming package were so cool, the location is great and easily commutable for someone without the car. Ben you’re an absolute star. Recommend you this all, shockingly good experience. I have been to many hotels in Newquay over the years and this is the best for value for money.

Really great location. In the centre, yet very quiet during peak holiday time. Well thought out even down to the personal shampoo, bottled water and tea/ coffee facilities. Definitely worth a visit.

Parking, but local council parking is available FREE after 4pm.

I couldn’t recommend Sea Bed enough as a place to stay for a holiday. I travelled by motorbike, so it was important for me to have a safe place to keep it overnight, and Sea Bed met that need perfectly. The host was friendly and helpful, and the place itself is cosy and just a short walk from the sea. If I return to Newquay, I would definitely choose to stay there again.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly owner. Great location as a base to explore Cornwall by transport.

Would definitely return. Very friendly and helpful owner who is very accommodating and understanding. Location is fantastic, everything on the doorstep (transport, shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment) yet, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Very accessible from airport via taxi or bus (bus is cheaper £2 and just as easy as getting taxi from airport). Walking distance to train station so a great base to explore Cornwall. Clean and comfortable. Fan and mini fridge in room which was very welcomed!

Nothing within the owners control but just be mindful the motorcycle noise (and its a lot) from the street is very loud and annoying.
