Lovely relaxing break

We have had a wonderful exsperience at the Skyline Guesthouse from the moment we arrived our hosts Agnes Ghani were only too happy to allow us to book in earlier than exspected . We had a room overlooking the garden which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice for us both. Skyline is close to local shops should you need anything. The town of Newquay is a nice walk into town with beaches all the way.

Excellent place!

Agnes was so welcoming and friendly on arrival. The place is really nice and clean and looks lovely. Really nice touches as to pre-ordering your breakfast on arrival, with the option to change for further days. There was a small fridge in reception with small bottles of fresh milk to take to your rooms for tea and coffee, plus bottles of water. We were asked on day two if we needed anything for our room, such as extra tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious and Agnes' husband was really friendly. They were both knowledgeable of the area and gave good recommendations for our stay I could not recommend them and their B&B enough.

Perfect hosts, comfortable room and would happily stay again!

Agnes welcomed us as we arrived and explained a bit about the area, things to do and all of the facilities on offer at the accommodation. She was on hand throughout the stay to assist with anything we might need. Breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of options so you won’t go hungry. It was great to have a fridge in the room too with fresh water and milk available whenever you needed it. The closest beach is lusty glaze, around 10 mins walk away and if you want to avoid the crowds of Fistral beach this is a perfect alternative.

The property is located just outside of the town centre so it is a little bit of a walk to get to the harbour side (30 mins) although worth it as you have stunning views along the way. I’d also note the en-suite was quite small but it worked for us. For any guests on the larger side it might be a bit snug.

A charming guest house, run by lovely people.

Just arrived home from a wonderful stay. The Full English breakfast was delicious. Coffee was fresh and served in a cafetiere, also brilliant. Other breakfast items were available to order when checking in and a selection of fresh fruit to help yourself to. Dining area was clean and comfortable and well laid out by room number. The room was cosy and the beds very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless, Shower was big with great water pressure and we were provided with towels and Toiletries. Fresh flowers on the landing smelled beautiful and the whole place had an aura of home. I Was travelling with my 5 year old son and although we didn't take advantage there were toys and games available so children well provided for. One of the best guest houses I have stayed in.

The hosts are amazing, friendly people. Their knowledge of the local area is amazing and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The property itself is lovely. Clean, fully equipped rooms and the breakfast is exceptional.

Highly recommend

From the moment we arrived, Agnes & Ghani was so welcoming and friendly, providing local knowledge of what was happening in the evenings. Everything was super clean, and the breakfast was lovely with a great selection to choose from. Close to the beaches would highly recommend any to stay for a short or long stay.

Great hosts, good location, good value & clean and comfy.

Agnes & Ghani were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was top class. The room had a fridge and tea & coffee making facilities and was very comfortable. The guesthouse is within walking distance of beaches, pubs, restaurants and shops but is also a good base for those wishing to travel to places by car. The onsite parking is a nice bonus.

There was nothing to dislike. Being 6'4" if I was to book again I would book one of the larger rooms.

Loved our stay! On site parking was so handy and location was really close to everything. Shower was decent, and the bed was SO comfy! Great value for money and Agnes was so friendly and kind.

Fabulous! We'd definitely be back

Great location, fantastic hosts, fabulous rooms and an awesome breakfast!! The thoughtful little extras (additional pillows, little milk bottles, etc.) in the room made all the difference!

Freak incident where the toilet flush broke down... it was quickly fixed though! Apart from that the entire stay was just perfect and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Brilliant guesthouse

The warm welcome, friendliness and hospitality of the owners. Good choice of breakfast items, fresh ingredients. Facility's in room for tea and coffee and fridge to use. Cleanliness of the rooms and good location of the property, close to town centre and other places to visit. Close to beaches, just a few minutes walk away. Also, very helpful on giving advice on where to go to eat and best places to see.

We had a wonderful stay at Skyline Guesthouse. The location is very convenient, easy to reach by car with private parking available. There are three beaches nearby to choose from, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the town centre with lots of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. The rooms are compact but have everything you could want: fridge, two TVs, fans, kettle, clean bedding, comfortable mattresses, hot water, and fresh towels. Breakfast was delicious. You simply choose what you’d like the night before from the menu. As a family from Ukraine, we ordered the English breakfast and were really pleased. The service was lovely, and the food was tasty and filling.

Honestly, everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room was compact, but very well arranged, so it wasn’t a problem at all.

Great stay despite breakfast hiccup.

All good. Very friendly hostess. Spacious room for all our motorcycle gear. Warm shower appreciated. Good night's sleep in a comfy bed. Parking no problem. A pleasant stroll into town for an evening meal.

I asked for poached eggs on brown toast with no butter for breakfast. Unfortunately I suffer from acid reflux so cannot eat certain spices. The eggs came covered with pepper and some herb mix. They were also brought out as soon as we sat down at 8.30am, the time we said we'd like breakfast in the morning. Maybe worthwhile checking with guests prior to seasoning cooked items that they're not allergic to these items. Also leave time for guests to have some cereal, yoghurt, prior to cooked items, as this was also ordered the previous evening with the hostess. Shame really that the breakfast spoilt what was an otherwise pleasant stay.

Fabulous guesthouse, great host and a wonderful stay!

Such a lovely guesthouse. It was clean, cosy and a lovely place to unwind during my downtime. Agnes the host was so amazing and couldn't do enough to ensure my stay went well. My room had everything I needed including a large fan which was perfect given the very hot weather during my stay. Breakfast was fabulous (super tasty!) and I didn't have to ask for anything - everything was provided.
