The location is very pleasant and the setting is calm, making it a good place to rest and recover energy. The overall atmosphere has potential and the place itself is charming.
Some amenities listed were not accurate (there was no telephone and no electric kettle), which was disappointing. We were told to use the coffee machine to make tea, which is not an ideal solution. Although hot water was offered at the restaurant, it was not very practical. There were also no spoons in the room.
The terrace did not match the impression given in the photos. Overall, there seems to be a lack of consistency between what is advertised and what is actually offered. In addition, the pastry (religieuse) at the restaurant did not taste fresh, which was a pity. Upgrading to a room with a balcony does not provide good value.

Storybook riverside setting. The property is tastefully decorated with comfortable rooms. The restaurant is top-notch and all the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Lovely rural location. Great communal sitting area. Friendly staff, albeit that they insisted in speaking to us in English when I line to practice my ok French.
The food in the restaurant was heavy and clearly aimed at Northern European tastes. My wife’s fish course was poor, the fish didn’t taste right. She left it.
