Refurbishment work needed

Our room didn't look like the standard double room shown in the picture. So a bit disappointed with that... And mostly it looks like this hotel needs a bit of refurbishment work to justify the price.

Great place for an overnight break. Would use this hotel again.

Location within easy walk of centre. Comfortable room; generally excellent breakfast (including freshly squeezed orange juice and local products). Great value. Easy street parking (with no charge after 5pm)

Only tiny quibble, the breakfast cappuccino was so sweet and bland (no coffee taste discernible to us) it was almost like hot choc.

Really perfect for the stopover to get last few things done before driving back to UK.

We were very pleased with the room and the helpfulness of the staff - they went out of their way to help us park our car with a top box in a secure place in a city in which parking can be tricky and expensive. We were really only passing through on our way to Calais and the staff helped with translating with the vet and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is near a string of small parks which was ideal as we have a dog. It is in the middle of the historic centre and then another 'mainstream' local road the other side of the hotel which we frequented for all sorts of shops... and the vets!

We especially like the fresh orange juice machine. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are stopping off on the way through France and want to visit the beautiful town of Troyes.

Very pleasant place to stay on our way from Germany to Brittany

Very friendly and helpful, safe parking (e-bikes on the car), good breakfast, close to the old town , good a/c it was a heat wave 35 C!!

Two day stay in Troyes

Had a good stay, was fine for two nights. Room was confortable and clean. Shower facilities adequate and very clean. Location was great. Staff friendly.

Not one hook in the bathroom to hang a wet towel from (was rather strange). Breakfast was basic. The elevator has seen better days (preferred stairs).

Just about everything. Lovely hotel, good location, really friendly, helpful staff. My partner requires gluten-free food and the staff went out immediately to buy the correct commodities. Helped with directions and taxis.

A comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Although there isn’t any parking on site, there is a service road to unload luggage and a large and cheap public carpark only a couple of minutes walk away. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You can’t beat French bread!

Great location 5 minutes walk into town , lovely big bedroom lots of storage,

shower was poor like standing in the rain , no coathangers in wardrobe , we asked for more but they never arrived , milk and tea not replaced in room , cups not washed , breakfast was just OK

The location of the hotel is great for a one night stay: very close walk to the centre of town of town and easy to get to. Secure parking in the street outside.

Friendly personal and safe car park. Comfortable but a bit smaller bed.

Breakfast we tried once and it was enough. Daily cleaning in room was almost not done. Rooms are very small, bit around a bed and that's it. Aging interior small and slow elevator.

When booking I stated 3 specific requests. Upon check-in it was obvious that the hotel staff hadn't even read them. Only one of the requests was satisfied and one other partly.
