A peaceful hotel with appealing decor and well-furnished rooms. Lovely staff.

Very well set out room - nice decor and furnishings. Plenty of space and a nice big and comfortable bed. The staff were very good, especially at breakfast.

Fabulous hotel. The best Mercure we have stayed in (and they are all good). Beautiful spacious privilege room, lovely bar and lounge area. Welcoming staff. Steakhouse restaurant next door excellent too.

Fabulous stay

Best Mercure we have stayed in. Fabulous friendly staff, great parking. Spotlessly clean, lovely bright airy room, comfy bed and good linen. Lovely comfortable area for coffees etc and an excellent breakfast. Troyes was wonderful we will return.

Good location , Very pleasent and a great breakfast

It was very central near the A26 for easy access travelling by car to the main roads

The rooms could have had more in the way of accessories example - it did have a small kettle but no tea and only 1 instant coffee pouch. Likewise lovely soap but no shower cap or anything•

Excellent Hotel.

The staff who dealt with us,Jane and Pierre Louis, were exceptionally helpful to us. Helping us with our onward journey to Courcheval in the Alps. Eg. Hotels and snow chains for our car. Excellent breakfast. We arrived too late for food room service. So they brought us a delicious platter of bread cheese and charcuterie. We have stayed in a few Mercures in UK and France but this was by far the best experience. The staff went above and beyond.

Friendly staff

Well located room so we could take our dog out easily. Good size. Not too hot. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Good secure parking, no awkward angles to negotiate with our long car. Good choice at breakfast.

Troyes itself is a delightful, clean city with many POI's & several interesting metal statues strategically placed. All are within 10 mins walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is very modern, spotlessly clean, very helpful courteous reception staff, and an amazing breakfast. The underground car park is easy to negogiate (no sharp bends like many other French underground car parks) and at €12 per day is excellent value.

The underground car park is excellent in terms of entry, although unloading several bags can be a challenge. There is no lift from the car park, so one has to either park outside the entrance on rue Camille Claudel and then obtain a trolley from the reception area and unload before parking, or park the car fully loaded and then wheel the loaded trolley out of the car park towards the hotel reception. It's not that complicated - everybody manages and the access being on the flat is a real bonus - no more scraping of one's car on sharp corners! We are planning to return next year - it's that good!

Nice hotel in a good location

Good location and a modern hotel Parking was secure and convenient. Our room was large and very comfortable.

On the day we left, there was a fire alarm which required evacuation of the hotel. However the emergency exit was blocked by large bins which had been placed against the outside of the door. In a real emergency, this could have had fatal consequences. The issue was reported to staff and we trust that this will not be allowed to happen again.

Convenient place to stay on the way back home.

Good location and the room was spacious. Garage was good but then you did have to pay extra for the privelege.

Facilities in the room were sparce . No fridge/mini bar , no "free" toiletries in the bathroom as promised on the website, rather bleak decor.

El hotel bien, pero sin acceso para coches.

When someone arrives, by car, he needs a place to unload the luggage, but you hace close the acces and instead of , you hace a trolley, so the guest can park wherever he can and return to the hotel. This is unacceptable and I will never return to your hotel. I am a guest of many diferente hotels of Mercure , but from now on,I will change. If you hace any explanation, let me know.

We stayed as part of our return trip, and this time the breakfast was excellent, the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. I gave a poor review on our outbound trip. But well done looks like my comments were acted upon as breakfast was 10 out of 10

Nice breakfast. Location was fine but very strange to have three Accor hotels next door to each other. Very odd.

Very much overpriced and very strange for an expensive hotel not to have a dining room or to serve dinner. Reductions at a very ordinary looking restaurant next door was not very good.

Hotel was situated about a 10 minute walk from town centre. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Separate shower and toilet. Breakfast was excellent in pleasant modern lounge area. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Secure parking adjacent for a fee.

Trendy hotel, only a short walk into the city centre.

Very chic decor, lovely room, with a big bed and comfortable pillows. The shower was lovely, and very nice soap. The breakfast had a great selection, and wasn’t very busy. Close by, secure car park.

When we checked in we weren’t told about the spa facilities so missed out on using them.

Started out great but the smell of drains was awful

Great room great staff but the smell of the toilet and drains was awful. We were in room 401. Deans smell seeped through the room. Such a shame as the room was beautiful. I told reception but they didn’t seem too bothered. Polite but not concerned. Such a shame

Breakfast was great, really good quality, bed was very comfy, lovely spacious room and really liked the decoration. Great central location and parking was very secure. All the staff were friendly and great

The rainfall shower didn’t work very well, it was limescaley. The shower door was only halfway across the shower, I used the handheld shower and am very short-sighted so the water went everywhere! I’ve never used a shower that wasn’t enclosed by a curtain or cubicle before
