About this villa rental

Immersed in the greenery of the Lucca plain, Villa Sissi is ideal for an original and relaxing holiday. The strategic position offers the possibility of reaching cities of art such as Lucca in just 10 minutes, Pisa, Viareggio and Versilia in 20 minutes, Florence in 50 minutes.
The house is on two floors for a surface area of 210 square metres.
On the ground floor there is the entrance, 2 large living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen with fireplace.
Upstairs we find 4 bedrooms, 2 of which with terrace and 2 bathrooms with shower.
Outside, a large garden furnished with tables and chairs allows you to enjoy the mild climate of Tuscany starting in spring. The Villa also has a private playground where you can play football, basketball, volleyball and swing on the swings. In the garden there is an in-ground swimming pool open from 1 May to 30 October.
BRAND NEW INGROUND POOL FROM 2024!!!
The gardens can be used for events and there is also a large living room in the house which can be used for parties on request.
The Villa is equipped with television, washing machine, dishwasher and internet connection.
Bus service is available in the surrounding area.

The indicated price includes rent, final cleaning, water consumption and internet connection.

We had a lovely stay and Andreas was extremely helpful. The property was extremely clean and a great space for the children to play outside! We were however charged extra for the use of the travel cot, this was not disclosed in the description of the property. The property is in a great location and we found it easily using the address given. We do wish we knew more about the public transport nearby as we ended up using taxis which were not the most reliable. We didn’t realise there was a bus stop nearby until our last day. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again.

Villa Sissi exceeded our expectations.The pictures at vrbo.com describes Villa Sissi very well. Great place, fantastic pool, large parts of the house seem newly renovated. Practical with two bathrooms if you are a large family or a large group. We were 7 adults and two children (almost 1 year old and almost 3 years old respectively). The kitchen was spacious and the whole family could sit around the table in the kitchen or in the adjoining lounge if we didn't want to sit outside. But also nice to sit in the shade in the pavilion by the pool. The house met all the needs of our large family. We had the option to swim in the pool, play volleyball or play soccer if we wanted to. There is a swing for the youngest. If you want to have a barbeque, it goes well on the back of the house. Villa Sissi is surrounded by other houses, although they are not many. It is centrally located regardless of whether we are talking locally or regionally. About 10 minutes by car to the nearest large grocery store (Coop and Lidl). It is about a 20-minute drive to the beautiful central capital of Lucca. Worth a visit for shopping and dining. Or just look at the sights. If you want to visit vineyards, they are within a 10-15 minute drive. Car to Pisa (tower) takes about 25 minutes. Florence around 60 minutes away. Longer car journeys often mean choosing roads with tolls, even if there are alternative routes. The best of all is the host's hospitality. Daniele and his family realy was a terrific host.

Great host who responded very quickly and sorted a couple of minor issues for us. Extremely spacious house and garden. Beautiful clean pool. Although payment for the electricity is extra it was quite reasonable.

Beautiful house with a huge garden to enjoy, the kids loved the possibility to play soccer, the adults to enjoy a glas of wine in the garden. The house is large, well equiped and not to fare to go to the beach (25 min) and Lucca (15 min to the center of Lucca). Very much recommended for families. ok… somebody has to watch the stairs when you travel with small kids like we do.

we felt very comfortable in the beautiful villa. The four bedrooms are a good size. We really liked the great garden with the nice pool, volleyball net, basketball hoop, soccer goal and swings. Lucca, Pisa and the beach are easy to reach. the landlords are very nice and have all wishes fulfilled immediately. we can definitely imagine spending our vacation in this great villa again.

Andrea and Luisella are the most wonderful hosts we ever met, very accommodating. They put their hearts in to keep the guests satisfied. We decided on this villa when the hosts agreed to organize our wedding party for us in September 2020. We met with the hosts in January when they warmly welcomed us and treated with potential wedding dishes which were delicious. We were delighted with their professionalism at that time. Everything was fresh as it was cooked on the spot. The wedding reception was in itself perfect - from the decoration, service to food. The tables and the buffet were nicely decorated with the vibrant flowers and colors we picked. The hosts worked hard since the morning to ensure all is ready before the party. This is a villa for a family where you can feel the Italian atmosphere, the rooms are clean, tidy and the hosts are always available to assist. A great advantage of the villa is the large and well-kept garden. Lots of greenery and flowers. Located in a quiet place. We consider the hosts to be our Italian friends and we will certainly return to the villa next year for our first wedding anniversary.

Just what we needed. Near Pisa, and Lucca, and the sea. A lovely house for a relaxing stay. It would have been a bit better if the owners had given more detailed instructions about the location as at first it was a bit hard to find. Other than that it was lovely.

We were a family of 11 staying in Villa Sissi for 2 weeks. The house and garden were perfect for 4 energetic young boys. Lovely pool and sports equipment in the garden. The owners Andreas Luisella and their son were always available to help with any problem and give advice. The house was clean and well furnished. Our only recommendation would be that the cooker needs replacing, very slow to heat up. The washing machine was very useful too. Local bus transport is good until 3pm after which it is unreliable albeit there is a service which goes near the area but requires a half hour walk to villa. Our only criticism which is not owners fault was the constant barking from neighbours dogs which, at times, woke us up. All in all we had a wonderful time. Just take earplugs...

We ( 4 adults and 4 children) had a very nice time in Villa Sissi. Andrea en Loisella did everything to make us feel at home. They provide us with tips on the region and made sure we had a very good time in the villa. The big space with the nice swimming pool is a nice start for your adventures in the region. The beach is nearby aswell a Lucca, Firenze and Pisa. In short, if you go to Tuscany and you are looking for a good location. Don't hesitate en go to Villa Sissi !

Great home base!

We stayed here in January 2018. The house was great for the 9 people in our party. It is located in a great spot close to Lucca, Pisa and Florence! My only suggestion would be to notify the renter of extra charges for towels and bedding when you accept the rental. Those extra charges of 90 euros really added up and we may had stayed elsewhere if we knew we would be paying that much more.

Die Villa Sissi hat unsere Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. Wir hatten einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub. Es war alles so wie beschrieben. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool stand für uns Anfang Mai zum Baden bereit. Wäre das Wasser schon etwas wärmer gewesen, hätten wir öfter davon Gebrauch gemacht. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind groß und bieten genügend Stauraum. Der Aussenbereich verfügt über ausreichende Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Gas und Strom werden am Ende separat nach Zählerständen abgerechnet. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Die Anfahrt ist problemlos. Lediglich die letzten Meter führen über einen unscheinbaren schmalen Feldweg, der aber für jedes Auto mühelos zu schaffen ist. Die Unterkunft ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Highlights der Umgebung. Lucca und Pisa sind schnell erreicht. Und auch das Meer ist nicht viel weiter. Wir können die Unterkunft also wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Großzügiges Haus mit hohen Räumen, sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Insbesondere der Garten und die verschiedenen Terrassen sind toll. Auto notwendig, dann in 15 Minuten in Lucca. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen (Eltern und 4 Jugendliche) für 2 Wochen im August 2021 in der Villa. Die Besitzer leben direkt am Objekt und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere sehr späte Ankunftzeit war überhaupt kein Problem. Das Haus selbst ist sauber, sehr geräumig und die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Uns hat hier nichts gefehlt. Durch die dicken Mauern blieb es auch an den heißen Tagen im Haus angenehm kühl. Der Garten ist riesig, es gibt u.a. ein Volleyballnetz und auch mehrere Terassen, die beleuchtet sind und wo man abends gemütlich sitzen kann. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber (wird täglich gereinigt). Das Objekt liegt in ruhiger Lage mit privater Zufahrt. Wir hatten dort unsere Ruhe und konnten ganz für uns sein. Das Meer (ein wunderschöner Naturstrand) ist in ca. 20 min. Autofahrt bequem zu erreichen, bis Lucca-Zentrum sind es 15 min. Wir hatten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit und werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber!

Eine sehr schöne, toskanische Villa. Highlight ist die Außenanlage. Ein riesiger Garten mit einem Fußballtor, Schaukel, Rutsche, Volleyballnetz, einem großen Sitzpavillion und großem Pool mit Liegen. Am Haus befindet sich eine schöne Terasse mit Sitzmöbel und einem Grill. Alles sehr schön hergerichtet. Super für kleine Kinder und Leute, die Erholung suchen. Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen und in einer idyllischen Gegend. Zum Strand etwa 40 min. Fahrtzeit. Die Gastgeber wohnen im hinteren Teil des Gebäudes und sind sehr nett. Wir verbrachten dort eine schöne, erholsame Woche.

Séjour en famille ( 5 adultes 4enfants de 7 à 11 ans) idéal pour tous La maison est spacieuse avec de grandes chambres, très bien équipée et reste relativement fraiche. Les extérieurs sont très étendus, bien entretenus et une terrasse contiguë à la maison avec une grande table et barbecue permet des repas à 10 sans problème La piscine est entretenue tous les jours, dans une grande prairie avec beaux transats, grands parasols, but de foot, filet de volley... vraiment très bien pour nos enfants, et le tout dans un environnement très calme Le propriétaire Daniele habite sur l'arrière de la maison mais ce n'est pas un problème car il est très discret mais toujours dispo pour un conseil et d'une très grande gentillesse Pour les plus grands Lucca est une ville piétonne avec un charme typiquement italien et ses environs permettent de belles sorties. Pise est toute proche, Florence et les cinqueterre pas bien loins En résumé un séjour qui laissera un excellent souvenir à tous, petits et grands

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevole settimana in questa bella e accogliente casa. Il giardino è stupendo e la casa è confortevole, pulita e curata nei dettagli. Abbiamo visitato Luca (un vero gioiello!), Pisa, il Parco di Pinocchio, il lago di Massaciuccoli (andate a vedere la fioritura dei fiori di loto se visitate la zona a giugno-luglio). Per arrivare al mare ci vogliono 30 minuti in macchina, ci sono le spiagge sia libere che attrezzate. A 10 minuti di macchina ci sono i supermercati aperti fino a tardi e anche di domenica. Grazie!

La signora Luisella è molto gentile e disponibile, è stata flessibile con l’orario del check in e la casa l’abbiamo trovata accogliente, calda e molto pulita. Ideale per le famiglie con bambini. Sicuramente la casa si presta di più per soggiorni in primavera/estate essendoci un bel giardino con barbecue e piscina. Cari i riscaldamenti da pagare a parte. Per il resto siamo stati molto bene!

Das Haus liegt nicht direkt an der Straße, so dass man noch einen Hinweis benötigt. War aber kein Problem, Andrea wies uns ein. Das Haus befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Lucca, daher ist es angenehm ruhig. Man erreicht Pisa und Lucca in 20 Minuten. Auch zum Strand war es nicht weit. In zwei Kilometer Entfernung liegt Castello Nozzano. Dort kann man eine Post, einen Bäcker und auch eine Gaststätte finden. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in Villa Sissi. Het huis ligt op een prachtige locatie, erg rustig maar is een goede en makkelijke uitvalbasis naar Pisa en Lucca. Er zit een hele grote fijne tuin bij en een fijn zwembad. Let op het betreft wel een opstaand bad en geen ingebouwd zoals de foto's willen doen geloven. De eigenaren zijn bijzonder vriendelijk, bij de incheck hebben zij gewacht op de plek waar google maps ons verkeerd heen stuurde om ons naar de juiste locatie te begeleiden, Ook hebben zij ons doorverwezen naar een fijn restaurant in de buurt en de boekingen voor ons verzorgd. Van het feit dat zij in het achterste deel van het huis wonen merkte je eigenlijk niets

Eine schön hergerichtete alte toskanische Villa. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und bei Fragen stehen sie zur Verführung (wohnen direkt daneben, stört aber keineswegs). Lautstärke, wie Musik und Spiele sind kein Problem! Garten ist einzigartig und riesengroß. Ganzen Tag über Sonne. Die Lage ist sehr schön abgelegen von einer Hauptstraße und dementsprechend ruhig. Dennoch kommt man super schnell in die nahegelegenen Städte (Pisa, Lucca, Florenz...). Der Wohnbereich ist kleiner und dunkler als auf den Bildern zu erkennen. Der Pool ist ein Aufstellpool (auch nicht direkt erkennbar auf den Bildern), ist aber trotzdem super zum baden. Preis für Bettlaken und Handtuch sollte vielleicht noch in der Beschreibung stehen. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus liegt etwas versteckt und dadurch sehr schön ruhig. Trotzdem ist Lucca und damit die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schnell zu erreichen (15 Min. Fahrt). Der Pool ist schön groß und war immer sauber. Die Schlafzimmer sind aufwändig gemalert. Es gibt keine deutsche Kaffeemaschine, sondern nur eine kleine italienische Expressomaschine. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a fantastic holiday in Villa Sissi. Everything was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 6 children) The garden has a pool, volleyball net and a lot of space which especially the children enjoyed a lot. The villa is only 15 minutes drive from Lucca. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience Tuscany.

We had a really great time at villa sissi! We were a group of 6 adults und 3 toddlers and the location was perfect for us! The house was very clean and the kitchen was good equipped. The bedrooms upstairs had a good size even so we had babybeds in there! The pool and garden area was like paradise for the kids 😊 Thank you Andrea and the whole family for having us!

Het was superleuk in villa Sissi. De omgeving was heerlijk rustig en een prachtige natuur. In de buurt was veel te doen. De familie was ontzettend gastvrij en gaf ons een geweldig vakantiegevoel. Er was heel veel ruimte om huis voor de kinderen om te spelen en te zwemmen. Een echter aanrader.

A very beautiful house with great surroundings

4 bedrooms they are big enough for an additional bed for children. The house is clean. Also the owners take daily care of the pool. A very nice playground for children. The next street is 50 meters away from the house so it is pretty calm and you can see the stars very clearly. It is all inside the house you need. From enough plates to a good oven big refrigerator .... you‘ll miss nothing. In Nozzano Castello you have all the shops like a bakery or a pharmacy. You can walk in 30 minutes there or by car ( then it takes 5 minutes). It is 20 minutes to Lucca center, 30 minutes to Pisa, great beach is 30 minutes away and Fierence one hour. We all had a great vacation! Michael
