Great two night stay in the guest house, central location, can’t fault it for the price!

Great location, right across the road from the bus station and next to the aldi. A minutes walk to the High Street and a few mins walk from the football ground. Room was very clean, along with private bathroom. Quick response from the guest house when I messaged asking questions.

The guesthouse is a lovely building, and the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. The staff greeted us and were very friendly, offering to give us information about the town. The guesthouse is very conveniently located.

John is the point of contact and is a really nice fella. He will always get back to you and try and help with any enquiries. I was arriving 3 hours before check in and as the room was ready, there was no problem to park up and check in (very appreciated). The room/en-suite was beautiful and spotless clean. Tea/Cofee/Hot Chocolate was plentiful along with biscuits. Location is perfect for the High Street in Elgin (Underpass and 2 minute walk). Also supermarket across the road which is great (you would never know it is there with regards noise as you dont hear a thing). Overall a fabulous experience and I will not look anywhere else for future stays in Elgin.

Parking by the front door. Room was exceptionally large. Nicely situated, two minute walk from the high street. Wi-Fi was good 30-40 mbps good for streaming etc.

Not a bad point per se, could do with some more lighting by the front door, I had difficulty reading the numbers for the key thing at the front door. Luckily the owner spotted me and came and opened the door for me.

Comfy, friendly, amazing stay right in the heart of town

I loved the stain glass and I loved my view of lady hill from my room! I enjoyed the rooms layout and colour it was simple but in the best way with feeling cosy and clean

I didn’t like the stairs after having a few drinks but that was my own doing nothing to do with the property

House of horrors

This place was cheap but for £10 could have had much better,there was a lady tht so happened to b there spoke to us for seconds apart from tht never seen anyone. The beds were old and like lying on cerment.the en- suit was lovely the whole room was on a slope room full of condensation. The bed smelled like it hadn't been washed dusty dirty I would have rather slept in the car. So yes it was cheap for 10hours but no wounder

The shower

Spotless, comfortable, friendly and economic, just what I needed.

No breakfast provided but plenty alternatives nearby. The problem of a separate shower room across the hall is something the owners can do nothing about. A little awkward but manageable. The room was small but fine. And spotless and the bed was comfortable.

They did all they could to provide for their clients.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. We had a great night sleep in a clean, quiet room. Host was lovely and very welcoming, they gave us lots of useful information about places we could visit near by. Would recommend. We really appreciated how easy and quick it was to get into the center.

A good spot to stay in the North.

The warm welcome and good sized room. The price was fair and - the bedroom and - private bathroom were spotless. Parking was right outside.

I did have a well equipped private bathroom which was super clean I am only marking down because I was not lucky enough to get an en-suite room which is much preffered.

Charming guest house

The guest house was clean and tidy. The staff we polite and friendly, they answered any questions we had about what to do and where to go in Elgin

Appreciate that everything is expensive. However, I felt £95 a night with a checkout time from 9.30am was a bit pricey

A nice stay

The room was nice, clean, cosy but a little dated. We appreciated the little breakfast corner in the room, with the kettle, tea and snack. Parkings were in front of the house. The guest house was near supermarkets.

We had a little problem with the hot water, but was rapidly resolved by the tenant.
