Great option, good value when visiting Elgin

Great location, close to centre. Freshly cooked breakfast. Spacious room and friendly owner and staff.

Visited in November and it was cold, could have done with an extra blanket in the room as it was chilly through the night.

Overnight stay for work purposes

Cosy single room - adequate for needs. Shower hot and bed comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Ample off road parking.

Comfortable Guest House

Lovely old stone house with huge rooms, nicely decorated and very clean. The host, Isobel, was friendly and informative regarding places to eat etc. Nice quiet street, so no road noise,

The radiator in our room never really warmed up, and the electric shower took ages to provide hot water. Such are the joys of an old building!

location very central. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent, we even had access to a kitchen which we didn't use but it was good to know the facility was there

Met all our needs, good value for money- anyone staying here will not be disappointed!

Isabel and Michael were very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast cooked by Michael. Other staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to centre of Elgin so didn’t need to use my car. Would definitely stay here again. Isabel and Michael thank you for your hospitality!

The perfect stop to rest your head.

The property is in the very centre of town and is absolutely beautiful. The host Isobel was just lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The room was stunning, spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities. I would happily recommend this property to anyone visiting Elgin, you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely first class.

5 Stars all the way

We were greeted by Isobel, a charming lady and owner, she showed us to a lovely bright spacious room, it was very clean, the beds were very comfortable too. We had a great night's sleep followed by a tasty delicious hot breakfast. Great location too, 5 Stars all the way from us.

We had a fabulous stay at Southbank.

Everything - Malcolm & Isobel were the perfect hosts, so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. A great cooked breakfast to start the day and a lovely comfortable bed to end day. Not forgetting the lovely lady who served our breakfast, lovely smile and a welcome each morning.

The room was absolutely spotless whilst the room was small it had everything you needed. A nice touch was a small kitchen open to guests, where there was a fridge, microwave, kettle, and even an airfyer along with a table to sit at if you wished to

Excellent position on a quiet street, a short walk from the train station and town centre. Hosted by friendly and obliging Malcolm and Isabelle, with Ivanda serving a lovely breakfast. Spotlessly clean accommodation, highly recommended.

Friendly Guesthouse in the Heart of Elgin

The Southbank is a lovely guesthouse & the owners are so friendly & welcoming. My room was spotlessly clean & had all amenities I could need. Private parking to the rear of the guesthouse was brilliant. It was ideally located within a few minutes walk of Elgin's main streets The breakfast was delicious.

The only room available when I booked was a single room. It was small but perfectly functional for my 1 night stay
