Fantastic property, well equipped and super comfortable bed. Little touches like milk, tea/coffee, butter and muffins on arrival were a pleasant and appreciated surprise. The property is about 25 minutes walk into Stratford-upon-Avon, which suited us, and it's a pleasant walk. The village is just a 5 minute stroll away. The host answered all my questions beforehand and called me a day or 2 before, providing lots of recommendations on where we can shop/eat. Will definitely book this property if we return to Stratford and I would highly recommend it.

Comments are aimed at addressing negative comments from other reviews, to balance them out. Water from the shower ran onto the bathroom floor when we first used it, but slightly directing the shower head towards the wall resolved this problem. Venetian blinds in the living area didn't open/draw up, however this was easily resolved by tucking the bottom edge into the gap between the window recess and the blind rail. Many reviews cite the beam across the living space as a hazard. It's hard not to see so we never once bumped our heads!

Great setting and Jane was a really friendly and considerate host, even checking about bed coverings to suit us in the extremely hot weather. Loads of parking and a sun-trap of a courtyard. Really comfy bed too.

The cooker itself was good, as was the dishwasher, but some more kitchen equipment would have helped with cooking, e.g. a larger frying pan and a grill pan to use under the grill.
