Riverbank Lodge

It felt homely and was well equipped.

We just needed to know the lodge number and position. I was sent PDF’s but they were blank. We found it after walking around, not a big deal but would have made it easier.

It was a beautiful location with fantastic views of the river. It was very clean, very comfortable and well stocked with provisions.

The room with two beds was small for two adults. It was comfortable and had adequate storage

The property was absolutely beautiful, everything was thought of. The beds were so comfy, the little basket with tea,coffee biscuits etc is a nice touch. They even provide games and books. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back to stay again. Honestly I could sit on the decking over looking the river all day with a good book! The main area for the river bank taxi is lovely and the food was beautiful . Lovely journey by river to get into Stratford Upon Avon , you need cash though to pay. You even have slippers dressing gowns and toothbrush and toothpaste provided. They really have thought of everything.

Having to park the car and go find the lodge for the key card to get through the barrier. I understand it’s not the hosts fault it’s just annoying and bit stressful to start. But not a major a thing. The visitors parking needs advertising better as I wouldn’t have known where it was hadn’t the host guided me.

Didn't know nothing was open apart from muddy bar (23rd 24th would of been nice to have known this information) Communication was amazing beforehand until arriving at park and not having access to the park due to barrier .Tried contacting owner via telephone and text understand she was driving once I received a text to inform me all information was on booking. Com.( which it isn't)was told accommodation was number 11.Thank God for park staff who helped via phone and the grounds man finally let us through seeing we had a upset child with us.The Gentleman took us to caravan 11 which we knew wasn't the accommodation, I showed him email from owner stating number 11,eventually after showing him pictures off booking. Com of the accommodation he took us to number 97.No way would we have found this ,later we had a text from owner to see if we're in the property, no other Communication.When we finally got in the pass was on the table, maybe update information for other people to enter property walk to your accommodation 97 not 11 to collect you pass to gain entrance.
