Peaceful place in a busy Dubrovnik

We spent Christmas Eve here and the place (monastery) had an appropriate atmosphere for that :) Room facing a well maintained garden, parking within the property, not too long walk to the old town, very quiet at night, perfectly clean.

Great 4 day stay!

Great location, spacious room and bathroom, very clean, great size shower with good water pressure, bonus having a microwave and utensils, supermarket just down the road including restaurants, casino, bus stop, walking distance to the old town, laundry facilities, owner was lovely and very helpful with transportation from the airport.

We had a great time

A quiet guest house, very tidy and clean in a very pleasant setting. Ana was very attentive and pleasant to deal with, helping us with securing a taxi, orienting us viz public transit and getting around. About a 30 minute walk to the old town, a pleasant and picturesque walk. Our room included some basic kitchen facilities which came in very handy!

The only thing - very minor - was a couple of noisy floor tiles that were loose.

Convenient location. Walking distance from the city center and with parking.

The room was clean and comfortable, with easy parking. It is very important the parking, since it is hard and expensive to find a spot to park in the city center. The lady we communicated with for information was very helpful and kind. The neighborhood was quiet and nice, with trees and gardens. The city center was reachable within a 20-minute walk.

Beautiful stay in Dubrovnik

This was such a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, in a quiet area, yet close to everything. The accommodation was perfect. Lovely room, spacious bathroom, kitchenette facilities. Also, beautiful little terrace outside, facing gorgeous garden. I wish we stayed longer. Close to the Belellevue Beach and quick bus ride, or scenic walk to the old town.

Fabulous

Ana was an extremely attentive and helpful host. Being able to do our own laundry in the property and hanging it up outside our room was a huge plus. Surroundings were super safe and beautiful, couldnt ask for more. Very close to a beautiful beach and local amendities. Great stay. Highly recommend. Thank you Ana! :)

Lovely comfortable stay

Great location, easy walk to old city. Fantastic communication from the owner. Made the world of difference to us. Parking onsite, for a fee ✅ Washing Machine use ✅ we didn't need to find a laundry mat and it was free of charge. Lovely stay

Access to laundry was an amazing bonus after 2 weeks of travelling.

The twin beds pushed together separated a couple of times.

The room was not clean but the place has a secure parking lot.

Free wifi, the size of the room, and a nice parking lot.

Lots of bugs! Crawling ants, flying insects, even a live cockroach! There’s no staff on-site. Shower room door was broken. Every time we returned to our room, there was an unpleasant smell, even though we had left a window open.

Beautiful garden setting. We were told many times to help ourselves to whatever fruit/vegetable we would like. It’s away from the hustle-bustle of the tourists, on a quiet street, but close to a bust stop. Uber was our choice: quick and cheap. The room was clean and confortable with air conditioning

Tranquil and Sweet

This place is the definition of tranquil. The view outside your room is trees and gardens that are tended to by nuns. There is air conditioning and easy and secure private parking. Check in and check out was very easy. A bus stop was very close by; a little market is only a five minute walk away.

There is a little area in the room with a kettle and sandwich press, but it doesn't have a full set of silverware or dishes. The washing machine is communal. Although the neighborhood is mostly residential, there is a hotel nearby, so the entrance to the property, which is controlled by a keypad, is a little dicey given that the road is moderately busy with cars and busses whizzing by.

Location on the grounds of the convent very convenient walk to Old Town and the number 4 bus to return. The nuns friendly and do a wonderful job with the grounds and landscaping. Excellent parking

Communication with Sonia and Anna was spotty. No Wi-Fi maintenance in bathroom no lights above mirror and the handle to the door came off in my hand. Second time staying at eight roses a little more effort keeping the place up is required.

Superb

Everything was great in the place only at the night time the garden's lights were not enough and it feels a bit scary if you are scared from the dark but in the morning it is great with a small table in the garden. And the place owner treated with the organic tomatoes and plums..they were yummy!!

Very quiet location and excellent for visiting the old town - great value for money

Nice quiet and peaceful location within a 20 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik. Not too many restaurants in a short walk but the Marangun and Taj Mahal are superb and very close.

If you don't like cats or are allergic to them, (as I am), then the 2 or 3 that walk around freely are sometimes a bit of a nuisance as they are very friendly and want to come up to you and go into the room!

Beautiful, peaceful comfy apartment outside of the old town

I loved the chair and table outside and the massive comfortable bed. I also liked that the shower was massive and water was nice and hot. The view was gorgeous. It was very peaceful outside the room. The landlady was nice and flexible with me coming earlier.

I couldn't get the tv to work but the landlady did say she would come and show me but I had to go out. Make sure you ask for photos of the street as from the outside it doesn't look like an apartment. You need to put a code in for the sliding door to open for it then go down the steep driveway. It's a bit far from old town if you walk in the heat.

Good quality for this price with some spice. ☺️

Calm however very well located (20mins by walk from the city center, closest beach is within 5 mins). Host is very nice and flexible. We did not know when we booked but the apartments are shared with Nuns whom taking care about the garden and live there generally. It was amazing, we got Blessed when we left. None of the 5 star luxury hotels have this service :)

It was perfect for this price so it would not be fair to mention anything here.
