5 mins walk from Chester station, and centre of Chester , we were given an upgrade to a room with a kitchen , super clean and thank you to the very friendly owner who greeted us upon arrival …and gave us our room straight away

From start to finish I was welcomed and shown to my room by the owner. I felt valued and respected and he also told me where to park etc .

Staff & Cleanliness: The staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire guesthouse was super clean. Welcome: The check-in and reception were very welcoming and smooth and I got an upgrade, which was super nice.

Bed Size: The bed was very comfortable, but quite small (under 2 meters long and around 120 cm wide). It was perfectly fine for me traveling alone. However, I was told at check-in that this was normally a double room. To be honest, I would not want to share a bed of this size with another person. Shower: In the evening, the shower only had cold water. It is highly possible I just did not understand the mechanism of the electric pump, as the water was warm the next morning. Windows: A big downside for me was that the windows could not be opened. As someone with mild claustrophobia, this makes me a bit anxious, especially in smaller rooms like this. I also always prefer to air out the room in the morning for my own comfort and for the sake of housekeeping.
