Wonderful stay in an ideal location with staff who really cared about your experience.

Wonderful location at the quiet end of Bohinj. The staff were all super attentive and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful and a wonderful start to the day.

Beautiful and lovely

This is located in an absolutely stunning area, right in between the mountains. The customer service was top tier, the front desk clerk was incredibly helpful and gave me tons of tourism advice. Towels were changed and bed made daily. The breakfast was included and had lots of delicious options.

The twin beds are quite small, be sure to upgrade to a bigger bed if in your budget! Note there are only 2 restaurant options within 10 minute walking distance on this side of the lake, so it’s better to have a car!

Beautiful location

The location is beautiful and very peaceful and the property is immaculate. The rooms with balconies are lovely and the owner is very helpful. Breakfast is good and plentiful.

A very minor gripe, but we would have appreciated a small fridge or tea/coffee maker in the room.

Great place, odd room

We loved the location and the breakfast. Very clean place, and welcoming. Very close to the lake, beautiful garden setting.

The bed was too firm for us, we did not sleep well. We probably had one of the smallest rooms in the place, but the bed was poorly positioned, with one flank against the wall, hence no table nor reading light. Overall the room had a little bit of a youth-hostel feel, and maybe we are a bit too old for that... The TV was in the side the bed. So was the wardrobe, just next to the bathroom door (could not open both at once). Someone get in there and rearrange the furniture please.

Extremely relaxing, cordial and quiet in a beautiful location.

The location was perfect and within walking distance of both the cable car to Vogel and the waterfall. Joseph, our host, spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful. It was one of the quietest locations we stayed at on our trip, with one of the best breakfasts, which you could enjoy on the covered patio in the morning

Beautiful 😍

Stunning location, very quiet and at the beginning of many hiking trails. Views all around are absolutely breathtaking! Super clean, amazing breakfast, very welcoming hosts. My first solo holiday and I felt very well looked after.

Brilliant stay - highly recommend

A great place. The room was comfortable with a great view of the lake from our balcony. A very welcoming host who was really helpful. We are vegan and they got extra breakfast supplies in to cater for us which was great. Such a relaxing place to be, so close the lake and an amazing river which crystal clear water. Also very close to a resort where you can rent bikes, padelboards etc and which has a good restaurant. Good easy parking.

Grateful I found this gem, recommend it!

Everyone that worked there was absolutely wonderful and helpful. They were accommodating as well. Breakfast was a fresh spread with a lot of options/variety - I am vegetarian and had no issue at all. Location - scenery/landscape was breathtaking, perfect if you had a car, a bit of walking if you didn't (I didn't and don't mind walking around a bit to get places so it was ok). Felt very safe. Very clean.

If I could rate it higher, I would.

I had such an exceptional stay, from beginning to end. The location is so quiet and tranquil, while still being very close to hiking trails, and still offering incredible, breathtaking views. The host provided personalized recommendations for sights and hikes, and was very accommodating with food in terms of vegan options. It was more than just exceptional customer service, the staff were so kind and considerate. They went above and beyond; I greatly appreciated their generosity and thoughtfulness. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and if I ever return to Bohinj, I will gladly stay there again.

Lovely hotel in beautiful and quite place surrounded by nature

Very nice and quite hotel where you can see deers at night grazing in the garden. Close to Vogel cabin and other hikes only few minutes from Bohinj lake. The breakfast was delicious with big variety and homemade cakes and pastry. Also the owner/manager was very nice. He offered us an upgrade to a bigger room with balcony which was great.

The original room was really tiny although very nicely made. Bare in mind that within walking distance there is only one restaurant in Ukanc and its not very good. So to get dinner you have to drive. Also there is no fridge in the room as it is hotel but as there is no restaurant where are you supposed to chill your wine?

Beautiful facility in a beautiful, quite location right next to Lake Bohinj. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was a great selection for breakfast. The beds were comfy. The chalet we stayed in was brand new. We found out from the host that it was opened just recently. I would definitely come back and surely recommend this place.
