Vila Park B&B - Adults Only

Very clean and comfortable rooms, but the one thing standing out was the great host and the amazing breakfast!

I liked everything

Everything

Great stay. Room was comfortable, balcony was awesome and we slept great. Bathroom was also great - I loved the heated floor! Two things that make this place stand out for us is 1) our excellent host! Who helped in so many ways - recommendations for the day, dinner reservations, help on navigating Cow Ball, and great conversations. 2) You can't beat the setting with the turquoise river running through the side yard. I would like to come back and relax in those lounge chairs a bit more! Easy walks to Vogel cable car, Slap Savica and the lakeshore. Both nights we walked to Restaurant Ukanc and had very good meals, with a great view on the deck (otherwise, you have to drive back toward the towns). Breakfast was fabulous - homemade eggs, pancakes, fresh pastries & fruit, and almost anything else you could think of!

A truly beautiful and peaceful lakeside B&B-spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with an amazing fresh breakfast each morning. Our host was warm and friendly, going out of her way to make us feel completely at home — it felt like staying with a good friend. The location is particularly special, right next to a turquoise river, and surrounded by mountains. Close to the gondola, swimming, a beautiful gorge and many, many fantastic hiking trails. There’s also a lovely local restaurant nearby (do make a reservation, it’s the only one within walking distance). We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return!
