Very good, served the purpose.

Rooms are clean and spacious. comfortable beds. Friendly staff and excellent service specially during breakfast. I was a bit confused with the design of the bathroom in my room! Having two bathrooms in the room with two separate toilet seats! I couldn’t get it. Other than that, all is good

1. Faced a bit of confusion at the front desk during checkout. The good lady handling our checkout didn’t know that we already paid before arrival through booking.com as she was asking for some extras to pay. I didn’t understand. After explaining then she realized that she made a mistake. It took a while! 2. I was a bit surprised there is no proper lobby at the hotel entrance where I can set and host people for morning cup of coffee! Had to go myself to the breakfast area to get my guest cup of coffee

Meh.overpriced and not value for money

Gorgeous hotel, big rooms, spa and pool facilities.

Front desk got so many things wrong and made many mistakes, also not particularly friendly (Massage therapist didn’t show up for a scheduled treatment and had me waiting alone in a room for 20 minutes and all the lady had to say was “ok, will take the massage off your bill”, for example). Restaurant leaves a lot to be desired as far as options (not to mention that the manager, Katerina, insulted my 80 year old mom and then proceeded to walk away in the middle of a conversation). The workers at the restaurant are super nice and helpful but the menu variation is problematic (breakfast is great though!).

Very good place for family healthy style vacation or weekend

Very good place for healthy time spending. Old Roman road and forest with fantastic clean air for walking in the neighboring hills , nice park , perfect term & pool, sauna. hamam , etc . Good restaurant, with friendly staff. Special local way of life - everything is closed very early. The room was not cleaned up , probably because we have left room around 12.30. If to tell about it to reception some one will maybe bring new towels and toilet paper. That's it.

classical elegant style hotel food including room service was fantastic. breakfast very good with attentive service great location next to hiking trails and connecting to train station too.

cleaning staff in sauna area turned off all heating 40 minutes before area was supposed to shut . at 30 min before closing they got me to leave sauna and told me I could use the pool instead..?

In summary

The room was clean and comfortable, staffs were friendly, breakfast was absolutely perfectly.

I went their with my parents. Unfortunately, there was no wheelchair available for my father during our stay’s in the hotel which was a bit disappointed and the public transport not convenient enough. It is better if they could provide a direct bus to the shopping mall (ATRIO Villach) .

relaxing escape

Everything was super comfortable (one exception was the European style two single beds put next to each other to make one bed with a crack and 2 exceptionally small blankets) BUT the food was great, the temperature was controllable plus you could keep windows open. The schedule for the pools was complicated but we figured it out and enjoyed them.

the staff was kind, attentive and helpful. breakfast and dinner were awesome.

despite being a 5 star hotel there was nobody to help out with luggage and after a 5 hour car trip, this was a bit annoying. NO kettle/boiler in the room for coffee or tee and when I asked for one they told me they couldn't provide it was because of the fire alarm in the room. I thought that was just a lame excuse. water boilers can be found in lower cathegory hotels.

Planning on returning regularly.

Complimentary Wi-Fi and secured parking facility. Outdoor hot-spring swimming was fantastic. Excellent sauna and steam spa, Jacuzzi and relaxation room. Fresh cuisine was abundant. Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. So enjoyed experience of local products in season. Fresh honeycomb, herring and salmon and venison bacon just to give you an idea. Front desk staff were professional, accommodating and friendly. On-site horseback riding offered for reasonable rate---safe and pleasant one hour scenic trailride that I did three times! Apples and cookies available in the lobby. Overall serene decor.

Not 5 Stars and not suitable for young people

Spacious room, very clean facilities, access to the Kärnten Therme, service in the restaurant was excellent

The hotel is very old fashioned suitable for elderly people - from the interior at the entrance till the opening hours of the SPA facilities and dinner times (only till 20:30); the service was not particularly proactive - you need to ask for everything and personnel at the reception gave the impression that the less they speak to the guests, the better (except for the restaurant, where service was very good); room service was sloppy - not filling in coffee/amenities/ leaving in empty minibar bottles, not picking up wet SPA towels. There was only one free bottle of water for 5 days of stay in a junior suite (!), while free water in the room is actually very common for every 5 star hotel; parking situation was stressful - needed to be lucky to get a parking slot in the evening as the parking was rather small; tea in the SPA was only available till 17:30 while the SPA was open till 8pm - if you want to use it after 5:30, no drinks; snacks at the SPA bar were not refilled (same for cheese buffet at dinner); Kärnten Therme access was nice indeed, but it is super packed. Overall well below the level of other 5 Star Hotels in Austria we have been to and would not recommend, especially to younger people below 50

Superleuke zwembaden en sauna’s, slechte kamer, matig personeel.

De zwembaden en het ontbijt waren top.

Sommige personeel viel echt tegen. Ze komen zomaar je kamer binnen voor een slechte reden! De Kluis deed het ook niet. Het bed was ook matig. Geen 1-tweepersoonsbed maar 2 aparte bedden die heel gemakkelijk uit elkaar schoven.
