Cozy home in Villach

Very friendly staff, comfortable room size and bed, breakfast included, extraordinary roomkeeper ❤️, she made our bed in a very creative way which my daughter loved a lot! Also good parking.

I booked a night here while passing by without thinking much of it, and it turned out to be the highlight of the day. Really loved the apartments and the level of care given to them. Modern, spacious, comfortable, everything was perfect.

Portrayed as a friendly, family run business - only saw staff briefly at breakfast

Good sized room. Breakfast was good

Reception not staffed. Dirty/ grubby couch. Towels dirty. Shower leaked a lot. Room serviced (bed made), but wet towels left. Washing machine in room was stated on booking.com and in correspondence, but not the case - hotel info needs to reflect what it truly offers. Host said it was not their fault. Washing machine and dryer were both full of property linen. It is not in a quiet location. It is on a busy road. Room was noisy with water running and toilets flushing from rooms above. Lots of banging about from 6am inside the hotel. Ask for a room that is not off reception area or pack earplugs.

Not quite in the location we thought

The apartment we chose was large, very clean and well furnished with air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and good bathroom. It was a ‘self service’ check in which worked well and access was easy. There is limited on site parking for about 10 cars.

We only met one staff member, I believe the owner : this was the following morning when we went downstairs. The encounter was brief and oddly offhand : I felt that perhaps we were intruding on her private space and time. Paying the bill took second place to her restocking the coffee table and we had to wait while her kitchen duties were done. Breakfast was a sad array of low quality pre sliced meats and cheeses along with bulk cereals, juices etc. One of the few times we’ve purposely left a German hotel hungry.

I would give 10 but when I entered the room I found bag with garbage behind the door forgotten by cleaning stuff. I know it happens because they have a lot of work but it ruined my impression.

The only downside is the location. I think it's a lot easier by car but getting there on foot can be a bit of a walk. Perfectly fine if you don't have too much luggage however.

I loved everything in here! How calm and close to nature. The apartment was clean and tidy and the breakfast was great! Just perfect! This time I was traveling alone but next time I'll be back with company. It's great either your traveling alone or with company.

Great apartment near center of Villach!

The apartment was very clean with modern decor and a great layout. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. Free use of laundry services was very helpful. Location is great, it’s very close to the center of Villach and also only a 20 minute drive from Italy. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect, except the noise on 1st floor.

The rooms are very nice, also staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Free parking and stable, normal speed wifi.

Avoid apartments on the 1st floor near the lobby. Life in the hotel starts at 6:30 and noise transfers heavily into the apartment/room near lobby - talking, clattering of dishes for breakfast and basically everything that goes on near the lobby. I could not sleep after 6:30 in that room unfortunately and sleep was what I wanted to do during my stay.
