Overall, while the location is good, we don't recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location in the very center of Villach is very good, and the bed was comfortable, which allowed for a good night’s sleep although it was too could during the night.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the parking situation. The hotel advertises private parking, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. However, there are just 10 parking spaces available for around 40 rooms. As a result, we had to park about 200 meters away at a public parking lot, where we were lucky to get the last available space. This did not meet our expectations of private hotel parking. The temperature in the room was to high in the evening, but too cold during the night. Another unpleasant experience occurred during breakfast. A guest at the next table was speaking very quietly on the phone, without disturbing anyone. A staff member approached him and told him that phone calls were not allowed in the breakfast room. A few minutes later, another guest merely took his phone out of his pocket, and the same lady immediately intervened again and forbade phone use. We found this behavior unnecessary and inappropriate, especially in a hotel where guests come to relax and enjoy their stay.

I would come again.

Charming place with a central location in beautiful Villach. My room was very quiet, though it was looking on a main street. Memorable one night stay in a warm place that ended with a great buffet breakfast.

Would like to have stayed longer!!

The hotel staff was simply fantastic. We arrived late and the woman in the lobby was so helpful and polite. The restaurant downstairs offered excellent food. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was very nice.

Parking at the hotel is very minimal, but there is a public parking lot across the street, which actually is cheaper than parking at the hotel. This ended up not being a problem for us, but I thought it would be worth mentioning for someone who has never been at the hotel before.

Convenient overnight on our transit to Croatia

Location is very central, at the pedestrian area of town. Our quadruple room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight, with huge variety of hot and cold dishes, great selection of tea and juice, and delicious coffee. All assisted well and supplemented regularly by a friendly staff!

Be aware that the reception closes very early. We arrived around 10:30pm and needed to search for a backstreet entry to find an envelope with room-key on the counter, and check-in instructions. Strangely, despite the fact that I indicated this arrival time in my reservation, the hotel has not proactively communicated with me that I’ll not have a chance for a personal check-in. All ended well, though. I could even park the car on hotel’s patio.

Centrally located, very comfortable stay in Villach

Room was large with a comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of closet space. The bathroom was great - a good size and plenty of hot water. Being able to park our car onsite at no extra charge was a real bonus. A wide selection of food for breakfast was most welcome. Location in the centre of Villach allowed us to walk to sights and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

One of the two breakfast rooms became quite busy and seating was a little tight. You were either shoulder to shoulder with the adjoining table or back to back with the one behind.

Clean, conveniently located.

The hotel seems to have been put together by joining different buildings, so the ways to the room might get a bit confusing. This is probably not a barrier-free hotel (ask before booking). The personnel was very friendly and the breakfast was good too. Our room was a bit small, but we were only there one night. Our bathroom was spacious. We arrived by bicycle, and they had a place to store and lock them, however that entrance is open to the street during the day.

No refrigerator in the room (not like there was much room for it), but I think you might be able to ask for one, as there were several of them standing open out in the hall. We did not, as we were only there for 1 day.

The facilities in the room. The breakfast and the friendly service. The location near the railway station and easy access to the lovely town of Villach.

Nice hotel in perfect location

The room was a good size and nicely decorated. We had a nice large balcony with a table and chairs. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The hotel location was perfect, right on the main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. They also had a luggage storage area so we could explore more on the town on our departure day.

I’m thankful that there was an elevator but you still have to climb quite a few stairs to get to it. Somewhat challenging with bigger suitcases.

The hotel's breakfast offered a European Continental experience. Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel enjoys a prime location with convenient parking facilities.

The condition of the room was utterly deplorable, causing us to feel nauseated and prompting us to take immediate action. The bedsheets were littered with an excessive amount of black hair, as clearly evident in the accompanying photos. Furthermore, the inconvenience of the reception closing at 22:00 left us unable to address our concerns about the room's appalling state. To our dismay, the room's decor consisted of hockey jerseys, leaving us puzzled as to how this could be considered a luxurious setting. Adding to our disappointment, there was no refrigerator provided. Despite selecting a room with two single beds, they were oddly connected, rendering them inseparable. This left us pondering the purpose of offering a room with two single beds in such a configuration. It would have been more practical to have a queen or king-size bed instead.

Needs a bit more improvement to match to be a Boutique, it is more Baroque

Location is 10/10 right in the heart of the city, close to everything. The check in was easy and fast, with kind and helpful receptionsts. The hotel brings back some charm time of the 19th century. Unique look. General the room was clean. Good contiental breakfast with salmon and turkish coffee. Good smell of shower gel and shampoo. Great and kind Ladies at the breakfast.

Some things needs to improve: Dirty coffee cup in the room, spider webs, cracks on the wall. Noise rooms, if the room mates one level up moves you can hear everything. Breakfast could be improved with some fresh smoothie and more variety of coffee.
