While the hotel itself is across from Lake Bohinj and the room was clean and had everything we needed, it wasn't anything special. I thought being away from the crowds in Bled would be a good idea but there's very restaurants in Bohinj. There were a couple of dining options at the hotel but one felt like it catered to bus tours and had no atmosphere (and had to be pre-ordered). The other was ok but we didn't eat there either. Breakfast was adequate.

Room was clean and spacious. I booked a single room and ended up getting a double which was a great surprise. There was AC in the room too which was soooo needed for this heat. All of the staff I interacted were very kind. I left to start my hike at 5am the next morning and the staff offered to prepare a breakfast bag. They also let me leave my luggage while I did a multi day hike. The location is perfect - steps away from the lake and the bus stop.

Nice clean hotel rooms with lots of space and access to swimming pool. Close to lake but also restaurants/shops so can be noisy at night. No air conditioning or kettle in rooms. Otherwise lovely place.

Staff was not very friendly. With the price we paid they wanted to charge 15 Euro for the sauna per person. I would think a 4 star hotel wouldn't be as petty. Positives are good location and clean rooms
