Nice hotel for a small price

I liked the price/quality ratio the most. The convenient location of the hotel next to the lake, the presence of its own Parking, grocery store and restaurants nearby, make this hotel especially terrifying.

After all, the single room is too small and cramped. I would like a bigger room. Unfortunately, the TV does not show channels.

Fantastic location. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast! Room was clean. Good value for money! I will be back.

The only thing was the mattress was a bit to hard for my liking and duvet cover an uncomfortable texture. However, there was an alternative blanket that I used

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of different foods. The location is quiet.

Beds were uncomfortable and the limited breakfast during low season made the stay less enjoyable.

Parking available, also close to the lake. Overall the rooms were very clean.

Wouldn’t stay longer than one night here. We decided to cut our trip short as we just weren’t enjoying the stay. Personally, the beds were not very comfortable, which made it hard to rest properly. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It may have been due to the low season and fewer guests, but the selection was limited. I do understand the need to reduce food waste, but it still felt like there wasn’t much choice available.

Huge room, very clean, well maintained, great breakfast, big parking, very central location (mercator literally beside and tourist info desk), lots of restos around walking distance, lake is like 2 mins walking.

Friendly Staff - Great Breakfast

The only place in my entire trip that did not let me check-in early, but I was able to leave my luggage in the lobby until check-in. My room was small, with a mini-refrigerator, and the terrace was large with a chair and table. The bed was super comfortable, and the room cleaned daily. Breakfast rocked with lots of choices. The staff was wonderful and I would stay here again.

Superb place for a wonderful experience at Bohinjsko jezero.

Great location. Very near bus stop, restaurant, tourist office, post office, lake. My room had a balcony with mountain view. Staff very friendly and attentive to ensuring that my visit went well. Which it did. VERY thorough email communication before and after stay. Breakfast complete and tasty. I lingered longer each morning with a second mug of Bela Kava (white coffee) on the terrace to write up the previous day in my journal.

The perfect place by the lake.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right by the lake but away from the road. It was perfect for our family and we felt very safe here. We spent several days walking around the lake and having the most fun enjoying this beautiful area. We ate in the restaurant on 2 of the evenings we were there and had the loveliest meals. The staff were so friendly and kind. We also had breakfast included which was excellent. The room was nice and warm and cosy. This was also one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever seen. It was spotless inside and out which was just amazing. Even the little courtyard was super clean. Our kids are already asking when we will come back so we will have to begin planning our next stay.

The location was nice and the breakfast was also fine we loved to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The pizza was super nice! The room was spacious and clean and nicely renovated!

We had no idea we will be in the basement. It was natural light on the room from the balcony but we could only see the bottom of out own car in the parking lot. We were rushed to leave at 9:50 already on the day of the check out which must have been a missunderstanding and the hotel apologized. If we go back we will ask for a top floor room for sure!

Great location, but the hotel would benefit from a bit of TLC.

The location is great, close to the lake. There is a Mercator next to the hotel. Parking on the property. The room was spacious and beds were good.

On some places, it smells weird (damp and cigarette smoke). The interior could use an upgrade. Breakfast is ok, but scrambled eggs and sausages are not warm. Cheese, cold cuts and yogurt are not cold. We did not use the restaurant since better options are available in the area. Staff did not inform us about the fact that due to recent floods, tap water was not drinkable. Overall, the hotel would benefit from a bit of TLC.

Pleasant

The location is excellent(!) and the hotel offers free parking. Also, all needed services (restaurant, grocery store, tourist info, bike rental, etc) are within the same housing complex.

Although the rooms are non-smoking it is allowed to smoke on the balcony (at least there were ash trays and people did so). This means if you keep windows open during the hot season you will have the smoke smell from neighbouring balconies coming into your room. There is no air conditioning of any kind, not even ceiling/movable fans in the room, which means during the warn season at least the smaller rooms can get very hot. And if you cannot keep the window open (due to smoke smell) the only way to cool down is to open the door into the hallway (which has some cooling). It would be great if the room had a small fridge and safe. Currently there was none.

Great location near the lake Bohinj, delicious local cuisine in hotel restaurant, free car park behind the hotel. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.

I was really disapointed in quality of the bed in my room. The worst 4 nights in my life. Mattress was old, awfuly firm and uneven. Basically I hadn't had a good night's sleep. Breakfasts would be improved by more fruit and vegetables.

Disappointing hotel that does not meet expectations

Breakfast was excellent. Wonderful scrambled eggs! But that was the highlight.

The room - even though we were 'upgraded' to a suite - was disappointing. The blinds had missing slats and were a transparent blue so in the morning the room was flooded with blue light! The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but very, very basic. No toiletries were provided other than soap. The decor and furniture were tatty and not very tasteful. This is clearly NOT a 3-star hotel. We were misled by what we read in the reviews.
